Party’s over. 

Everyone had started to clear out. 

Last to leave was Jared. 

At the hotel entrance. 

A valet had already driven up Jared’s car. 

Beatrice, clad in evening wear, wa’s seeing off Jared in the chilly night. 

With a face full of reluctance, Beatrice asked, “You’re going back to Willowbrook Town, aren’t you? Can’t you stay here for a few more days? It’s really late 

now.” 

Jared’s gaze, however, landed on Agnes standing nearby. 

He replied indifferently, “I’ll be in the Capital for the next few days.” 

Excited, Beatrice said, “Really? That’s great, then I’ll come find you tomorrow.” 

He answered, “No need, I’ve got work to do, I’ll come see you when I get a chance.” 

Beatrice was somewhat disappointed, but still thrilled inside. 

In the past four years, Jared never seemed to have sought her out on his own initiative. 

Lowering her head, Beatrice gently said, “Jared, I’m really happy today, thank you. I’ll wait for you, no matter how long, I’ll be waiting.”
