Chapter 560
Jared’s personality had changed a lot, and he started hanging out in all sorts of social circles, pretty much becoming a playboy.

And all these changes were probably because of her.
In the past, he was practically a germaphobe when it came to women. Even if someone just touched his finger, he would go wash his hands right away.
The only thing that Agnes didn’t see coming was Jared playing the field with several women at the same time.
Agnes felt uneasy about it, especially seeing Jared with Beatrice.
Which is why she just said what she said.
But when Agnes sat down and really thought about it, she realized she had no right to meddle in his life.
Once you let go of something, it’s truly gone.
Since she couldn’t be with him, how could she expect him to be faithful to her?
Agnes felt the irony herself.
Jared just drove off.
After watching Jared leave, Beatrice walked straight up to Agnes. “Agnes, what on earth did you say to him? You’ve been divorced for four years now, what’s left to talk about? You better not be trying to lure Jared back.”
“As soon as Jared left, you show your true colors, Beatrice. I’d advise you to keep up the act, or you’ll blow your cover. After all, you’ve been pretending for four years now, how come there’s no improvement?”
“Agnes!”
“Alright you two, knock it off.” Laura stepped in. “Agnes, let’s go home. By the way, how long are you planning on staying this time? So I can make arrangements.”
Agnes laughed, “Ms. Laura, I actually came to the Capital for something personal, I’ll be here for about a couple of weeks. It’d be great if you could put me up. I’m not familiar with the Capital. I have this bad habit, I can’t sleep in hotels.”
Laura laughed, “You’ve always been picky about where you sleep, of course you wouldn’t like the soft beds in the hotels. Don’t you worry, when we get
home I’ll have the butler prepare a hard wooden bed for you.”
“You know me so well.”
Agnes joined Laura and Beatrice in the car and returned to the Thomas family’s peninsula villa.
