Hello, Mr. Brent novel Chapter 235

Emily's mother's case finally went to court, and a lot of people showed up at the court that day. It was reasonable for Emily’s friends and relatives to come there. But there were also people coming for Hunter and they were all working at his hospital.

Emily was surprised and thought that Hunter was extremely disgusting. It was shameless of him to invite his colleagues over to watch him standing trial for doing such an immoral thing.

But soon she found that these people were not invited by Hunter, because Hunter was also shocked to see these people. Especially when he saw the dean, he quickly asked with profound respect and humility, "Sir, why are you here?"

The dean looked at him and said faintly, "I heard you were going through divorce litigation, so I came over to take a look. After all, you are from our hospital, and we should know how you are getting along."

Hunter was sweating profusely, thinking that the dean didn't want to know what was going on with him, but just wanted to laugh at him.

In divorce litigation, things could get nasty and the two people might end up being enemies. Even if he won, when he returned to the hospital, he would be regarded as an unfaithful man. How could he work there in the future?

But they were here, and it would be unreasonable for him to ask them to leave.

So he had to grit his teeth, grinned awkwardly, and politely invited the dean to sit down.

When he looked at the group of colleagues around him, he felt even more upset. However, he had no choice but to sigh.

Emily held Abigail over. Before they came, she asked Franklin to find a styling team to do Abigail’s hair and put makeup on her face. Abigail also changed into a simple but elegant outfit.

Abigail had always been good-looking, even though she was old. However, after the preening, she who was already 50 years old looked like a 30-year-old young woman. She was more like a sister than a mother of Emily.

Hunter was also stunned when he saw her, and couldn’t turn his gaze away from her.

He was a little annoyed and somewhat sad. In fact, he didn't mind spending the rest of his life with Abigail.

Except for Abigail, no other woman could treat him sweetly and with tolerance like both a mother and wife.

But all of this was ruined by Emily. Hunter glared at her resentfully. If Emily hadn't come back and started this, how would Abigail have known about this and decided to divorce him?

But what he didn't expect was that besides divorcing him, Abigail actually wanted to get the whole house. He thought that Abigail was just going to get a divorce and get back the money she had invested. He was surprised to know that she wanted to claim both the house and her money.

"Are you kidding me? My name is not on the property ownership certificate of that house. We lent it to our friends together. Now you want to take the house? You are so shameless." Hunter said sarcastically to Abigail.

Abigail snorted coldly. Since things were getting nasty for them, she said sharply, "Hunter, you are the one who is being shameless! That house is clearly our house and our marital property. You put someone else's name on the ownership certificate behind my back. You have the nerve to say that?"

"You also said that it was someone else's name on the certificate. This is the solid evidence, so there's nothing else to say." Hunter insisted that his name was not on the property certificate, so he was fearless.

Abigail was so angry that her whole body trembled. If Emily hadn't comforted her beside her, she would have fainted.

She didn't expect the man she loved to be like this and even more hateful than that day. However, she could not do anything about it.
