Emily woke up from a coma and blinked in confusion. Her mind was a little dizzy, and she couldn't tell the dream from reality.
But soon, she remembered. Her son was missing. She was still in the police station and she asked Franklin for help looking for her son, but Franklin knocked her out.
"Bryce, Bryce." Emily quickly got up from the bed.
But her body was so weak that she could not help but kneel on the ground as soon as she got out of bed.
When Lisa heard the noise, she ran over and saw her fall to the ground. He was surprised and said, "Miss Johnson, what happened to you? Why did you fall to the ground?"
"Lisa, Lisa, my son is missing. I'm going to find my son." Emily held Lisa's hand and cried bitterly.
Lisa frowned and quickly helped her up. She comforted her, "I know I know. Mr. Brent is trying to find him. Jason has gone out to look for the son. He will definitely find the young master."
"Where's Franklin? I want to see him, I want to see him." Emily said anxiously.
Just as the bedroom door opened, Franklin walked in from outside.
"Lisa, you go out first." Franklin said coldly.
Lisa frowned, but let go of Emily and went out. Before she left, she closed the door for them thoughtfully but glanced at Emily uneasily.
Franklin's eyes were cold and sharp, and he stared at Emily. Emily was uneasy at his gaze.
But she couldn't care too much. Although she didn't know what Franklin was thinking and why he was staring at her like this, Bryce was still nowhere to be found. She had to beg Franklin to find him quickly.
"Franklin, I was wrong. I know I was wrong. No matter what mistakes I made in the past, it was my fault. But please help me, help me, help me to find my son. As long as you find my son, I will not leave you for the rest of my life. I will stay by your side forever." Emily tugged at Franklin's sleeve and begged.
Franklin sneered and gritted his teeth, "So you still wanted to leave me before, right? You took your mother somewhere else, and you asked Joyce and the others to sell the flower shop and go back to their hometown so that they wouldn't have to worry about things here, and then you can leave me with your son?"
Emily was stunned and looked at him in horror.
After a while, she asked in a trembling voice, "You... You know everything? So, you know everything, right?"
Franklin sneered, "Do you think you can hide that from me?"
"Did you take Bryce away? Did you already guess that I would take him away from you, so you directly kidnap Bryce and hide him?" Emily cried out as if she had suddenly come to her senses.
Franklin frowned fiercely but looked at her coldly without saying a word.
Neither did he admit it nor deny it.
But in Emily's opinion, his silence was an admission. Her heart was suddenly hit hard by something, painful and numb. But at the same time, she was glad that it was he who took Bryce away, at least not to let Bryce's life be in danger.
But at the thought of Franklin's action, she was still so angry that she gritted her teeth and her lungs were about to explode.
"Franklin, don't be shameless. If you're angry with me, you could punish me. Why do you hide my son? I'm telling you, let him go quickly, or I'll never forgive you." Emily cursed angrily.
Franklin said, "I don't expect you to forgive me. It's great that you don't forgive me. But you can't leave me either. If you ever want to leave me, I will never let you see your son in this life. Not only that, I will send him to a rural and barren place and make him suffer for the rest of his life."
