The night Mrs. Brent left, Emily was looking up at the sky through the window. Although she knew she couldn't see Mrs. Brent's plane, she still tried to figure something out.
Of course, the final result was that she saw nothing. Mrs. Brent just left quietly, and she was afraid that Mrs. Brent would never appear in her life again.
She had thought that after taking revenge on her so fiercely, she would gain an indescribable pleasure.
However, nothing. She did not get the thrill of revenge, only a heart full of loss.
"Well, I really am not suitable to be a bad person." Emily smiled bitterly and said to herself.
Suddenly, a piece of clothing was draped over her body, and then a person hugged her from behind and said, "In this world, good people may not have good karma, but I like your kindness."
"But now I'm not kind anymore," Emily muttered.
"You're sad and regretful, that's kindness. An unkind person won't regret what he has done. Even if he/she did something unscrupulous, he/she will only owe to his fate." Franklin said slowly.
Emily's heart couldn't help but soften. Franklin's words were like a hot spring that surrounded her heart and soaked it in it. The originally cold heart instantly melted, becoming warm and moved.
If... If there was not his marriage to Avery, she might have told him that she had a little fancy on him at this moment.
"How's your wedding with Miss Lewis going?" Emily muttered.
After asking it, she realized what she had said, so she pursed her lips and regretted it.
What was wrong with her? How could she ask this question in such an atmosphere? She must be out of her mind!
Sure enough, Franklin's face expression changed, and his originally gentle expression became gloomy.
Emily couldn't help but get angry too. She thought in her heart, "Was that what I wanted to ask? You have done it, why do you forbid me to ask about it? Don't I even have the right to ask about it since you have got married?"
"Didn't you say you wanted me to be her maid of honor? I have to know the details." Emily snorted.
Franklin wanted to get angry, but he held it back.
"I'm almost ready. After all, it's almost the wedding date. If I don't prepare well, I'll find Lisa to blame. Your bridesmaid dress is ready. I think she'll send it over to you in the next two days for you to try it on."
"Why should I try on? I'm just a bridesmaid, just find a dress causally to wear." Emily snorted coldly.
Franklin gritted his teeth and said, "How can this work? This is Avery and my wedding. You must be perfect and flawless. Not to mention a bridesmaid like you, even a flower at the door, I won't allow any flaws appearing on it."
"Well, then you will be exhausted. How can others be so meticulous about this kind of thing? You should supervise the workers every day and pay attention to every details." Emily said angrily, then pushed Franklin away and went to sleep angrily.
Soon, Franklin came over.
Emily was angry with him, and as soon as he leaned over, she quickly moved away.
She didn't expect Franklin to persevere. When she moved away, he chased her. Whenever he chased, she would move again.
Emily had nowhere to move. The beg's size was fixed. She moved a few times, and where else could she go? Soon, she reached the bedside and almost fell off.
"Be careful." Franklin grabbed her waist with one hand, pulled her hard, and brought her to himself.
Now it was Emily who was pressing on Franklin, looking down at him with her face facing him.
Franklin held her hands and slowly slid down. Looking at her shocked expression, he couldn't help but smile. One hand slipped onto her face and gently rubbed her cheek, "Okay, don't be angry. You're so angry. Can I think you're jealous?"
