When Emily recognized that he was still concerned about his son, she chose to pass over it.
She was also physically and mentally exhausted. Lying on Franklin's lap and keeping her eyes closed, she quickly fell asleep.
After she fell asleep, Franklin finally looked down at her.
Looking at her unguarded little face, he wanted to pinch her cheek to vent his anger. But she had no idea how anxious he was, and now she even fell asleep. When he rushed in that place and found Andrew was naked, Franklin was dying to kill him.
But in the end, Franklin still didn't bear to pinch her cheek. Instead, he sighed and rubbed it gently.
Emily had no idea how gentle Franklin was to her. Anyway, after she woke up, Franklin had already left.
This house belonged to Aaron. When Franklin came over, Aaron tidied it up and let him live here for the time being.
Emily took a shower after waking up. Fortunately, there were clothes suitable for her in the room. Franklin should have prepared them for her. So she picked out a suit and put it on. As soon as she went downstairs, she saw Lisa sitting on the sofa with a serious look, while Matthew was circling around her like a dog.
"Miss Johnson, you're awake." Lisa quickly stood up.
Matthew greeted Emily with a smile and waved, "Auntie, do you remember me?"
Emily nodded. Matthew had not changed much in the past four years. The words "mature" and "steady" couldn't be used to describe him at all, and he was still as unreliable as he was four years ago.
It was just that she found it particularly annoying to watch Matthew keep circling around Lisa.
"Why are you here?" Emily asked Matthew.
Matthew said quickly, "My father runs the company here. If something happens to you here, my father and I are naturally obligated to help my little uncle. Fortunately, we found you back in time. You will surly be blessed after surviving that."
"Can you say less?" Lisa said unhappily.
Matthew stuck out his tongue and said respectfully, "Fine, fine, fine, I'll stop talking. I listen to whatever you say."
"If there's nothing else, you can leave first!" Lisa had something to ask Emily, so she chased Matthew away.
Matthew immediately showed an aggrieved look and said, "Lisa, you can't just kick down the ladder. Now you drive me away as soon as you don't need me."
"What are you talking about? When did I need you? You're the one who kept pestering me. Go away quickly. Don't waste your time sticking around, or I'll be angry." Lisa snorted.
Matthew curled his lips and left unhappily.
He kept looking back at Lisa when leaving. Actually, it was awkward that he was unwilling to leave.
After Matthew left, Emily quickly asked Lisa with a gossipy face, "What's wrong with this Matthew? He seems to have some interest in you."
"Stop prying into my gossip. I'm so beautiful and sexy, and he's so lecherous. Isn't it normal for him to be interested in me?" Lisa said with a natural expression.
