"You... Mr. Williams, are you really getting married?" Erin asked embarrassedly.
Daniel chuckled, "Of course, I have to give my son a reasonable identity and a mother."
"Son?" Erin was even more surprised and couldn't help but look at Emily's belly.
Daniel said, "It's our son. We had a test tube baby. Cassidy was the mother. I didn't expect her to leave, but it doesn't matter. After all these years, we got emotionally attached. It's a godsend."
Erin was startled, looking at Daniel in astonishment, and asked, "You mean you and her... Didn't you say that it didn't work out?"
"I lied to her. This is a photo of my son. I can show you first," said Daniel as he found the photo on his phone.
Erin took a look. The child looked exactly like Daniel. Who would believe that it wasn't Daniel's son? And the age was right. It should be the baby who had the test tube.
Daniel took back his phone and said to Erin, "I'll get someone to send you the wedding invitation. Look forward to your arrival."
"Okay, I'll attend," Erin said.
Daniel took Emily's hand and left and he didn't let go of her hand until they got into the car.
"Did you tell her on purpose? Do you think Erin knows where she is?" Emily could tell what was going on just now. It turned out that he brought her here not only to train her but also to let Erin know about her.
"Sorry, I used you again," Daniel apologized.
Emily shook her head and said, "It's okay. I'm willing to do anything to help you find her. But Erin may not know where she is. In fact, I tested her in the room. She really doesn't seem to know."
Daniel snorted and said, "You hardly know her. She's worldly-wise and good at acting. Don't be fooled by her sincere look. If she doesn't want to tell you, she got hundred ways to act completely unaware."
"So, you mean she lied to me on purpose? Does she know that person's whereabouts?" Emily asked in surprise.
Daniel lowered her eyes and said, "The only person she trusts is Erin. She tells her everything."
"Then why don't you ask Erin directly? She's quite respectful to you, and I don't think she'll lie to you," Emily said.
Daniel sighed and reached out a hand, "It's been five years. If Erin was really willing to tell me, she would have told me long ago. You don't know how persistent she is."
Emily, who was embarrassed, didn't know what to say.
They arrived at where Franklin was. Daniel said, "Taking you to meet Erin is not just for me. I really want to harmonious your relationship with your husband. Don't forget what I taught you. By the way, tell Franklin to take it easy. After all, he's my cousin."
"I know. Don't worry!" Emily waved at him with a blushing face.
Daniel asked the driver to drive the car away. Emily didn't turn around and ring the doorbell until the car was out of her sight.
The servants were very happy to see her, especially Lisa.
As soon as Lisa saw her, she ran at her and hugged her, bursting into tears.
Emily was so scared. She had never seen Lisa cry like this before.
"Okay, okay, I'm back now. Don't cry," Emily comforted.
Lisa choked, "You scared me. I've never been scared like this before. Ever since I met you, I've lived a day in fear. If I continue to be with you, I'll go crazy."
