Her Brutal Alpha novel Chapter 61

"He doesn't hate you Kenny - he's mad and upset with you and he has every right to be." He kissed me on the head after his reply, my father wasn't the type to sugar coat things. He was honest and would tell you if you were wrong.

It brought back memories for him, him and my mum was in a similar situation when they were my age. My dad had rejected my mom, not knowing that she was pregnant with me. My mom had moved away, wanting him to never know that I existed, frightening that he would reject me like he did her.

Looking in my dad's eyes I could see that he was having flashbacks of when he discovered me, the pain he felt when he missed some of the most important years of my life and all the memories he had missed out on.

My mom was standing next to him, her hand on his shoulder - she knew exactly what he was thinking and feeling and all she wanted to do was comfort her mate - just like I wanted to.

A few minutes went past without none of us saying a word, there were wolves coming in and out of the room, removing all the damaged furniture.

Once no one was in the round, my mom turned to look at me. "I can't believe you're pregnant Kenny, you're only a year older than me when I found out I was pregnant with you."

I gave her a small smile, I knew that her pregnancy with me was a tough one and she emotionally struggled throughout it.

"I understand why you didn't tell him." She said to me, grabbing my hand and squeezing it tightly.

I nodded, not wanting to say anything, frightened that it was set me off and I would start crying again.

My parents were both calm about the pregnancy situation as it was normal for werewolves to have children young especially Alphas.

Our pups were strong and our pregnancy only lasted 4 months, I was about 6 weeks along, I couldn't be completely sure as the doctor didn't get the chance to speak to me before Blaine came in.

I was concerned about Blaine; my dad had told me that he had shifted and was running through our territory. My dad sent three wolves to follow him from a safe distance so Blaine wouldn't take his frustration out on anyone.

My dad told me to leave Blaine for a while, he must have been feeling betrayed especially all the events that have happened in his life to make him the way he is.

My dad also commented that he would speak to the pack doctor as he was concerned as to why there was no scent to my pregnancy.
