Chapter 267
Lily didn’t know how she was supposed to get pregnant. She wondered if Hazel and Bobby expected her to climb into bed while “pregnant” and seduce Xavier. Lily’s gaze on them was filled with ridicule.
“Don’t just stand there. Quickly pack your things and go back!” Hazel pushed her toward the bedroom.
Lily stepped aside, walked to the main door, opened it, and pointed outside. She yelled, “You might be shameless, but I’m not! I’m not going back. This is my house, so please leave!”
Bobby slammed the table and stood up, his eyes bulging as he glared at her. “We raised you for nothing! Hayden treated you so well. Are you okay with him not having money for treatment?
Hazel was startled by the sound of the table being slapped and quickly dragged Lily from the doorway and closed the door. “You’re making your dad angry again, you—”
“I’m not making him angry. He’s never liked me, and no matter what I do, it’s wrong! If you can afford a 200 thousand dollar bag and a 10 thousand dollar belt, why are you forcing Hayden’s medical bills on me?”
Lily pushed Hazel away. She didn’t want to argue with her. After all, Hazel only followed Bobby’s lead without question. Whenever Bobby was angry, Hazel would only reprimand her, lecture her, and demand that she obey.
“You’re heartless!” Hazel, seeing Bobby’s face darken with anger, panicked and clung to Lily relentlessly. “Are you trying to send your father to his grave? If he’s gone, how am I supposed to live?”
“You can live however you want!” Lily found it impossible to reason with them.
Ever since trying to divorce Xavier, many things have been out of her control, and rage built up inside her. Now, all that angererupted in an instant. Herface turned pale, and she shook Hazel off again.
Lily walked to the door and opened it.
“Get out, or I’ll call the cops. I’ll report you for trespassing!” Lily seethed.
Bobby was furious, but he could dimly sense that Lily wasn’t the same as before. He turned his anger on Hazel and shouted, “This is the daughter you raised! If she ruins things with the Fultons, you can both get lost!”
“Honey!” Hazel burst into tears and looked at Lily pleadingly. She then followed Bobby helplessly.

Bobby stormed off but stopped next to Lily. “Lily, if the Joyner family falls, let’s see if you get anything good out of it. Don’t even think we’ll belp you if you on the streets!
Lily’s expression was blank, her gaze fixed elsewhere, not even sparing Bobby a glance. Even when the Joyner family wasn’t struggling, Lily never had a good life.
If she hadn’t married Xavier, she might have been forced to marry some old man, and her
ser life would be unimaginable.
Upon seeing Lily’s demeanor, Bobby snorted angrily and walked out to press the elevator button.
“Honey!” Hazel rushed out of the apartment after Bobby. But she didn’t forget to tum back to Lily and add, “Lily, if you want to ruin your life, fine, but do you want to make me lose my home at this age, too? You’re heartless! I’ve always treated you so-
Lily slammed the door loudly in Hazel’s face.
