Chapter 336 

Nadia was momentarily taken aback upon hearing this, realizing her previous comment had come off as dismissive. 

She settened her tone and asked, “How are you adjusting to everything so far? 

“n’s fine, thank you for asking. Ms. Cooper.” After a brief pause, she lowered her voice and added, “The kitchen design should be open–plan, and the overall style will lean towards darker colors. The master bedroom on the second floor will need a bigger bed. ” 

The villa she had lived in with Xavier for two years had a closed kitchen, which Xavier had never liked. 

He also wasn’t fond of bright colors and often complained that the master bedroom’s bed was too small for his taste. It wasn’t big enough for him, considering his position an preference for variety. 

However, Lily wasn’t bringing this up for Xavier’s benefit–she simply wanted to help Nadia secure this deal as much as possible. 

Nadia raised an eyebrow. “How do you know all this? The design and color scheme of that house used to be pretty bold! 

“Ihe liked it, why would he change it? Lily replied with a faint smile. 

“You really do have a sharp eye,” Nadia thought highly of her but still had some reservations: “As for the house’s design style, I’ll check with Sarah 

“After all, she’ll be the one living there, and it’s unlikely she’ll design it based on Mr. Fulton’s preferences, but rather her own.” 

That made sense. Lily had actually forgotten about that. 

She nodded, her lips curving in a self–mocking smile. “I didn’t consider that. You all carry on Figuring it was time to leave and report back, she turned and walked away. She was the first to exit.

On the way to the bus stop, she received a call from Landon. “Lily, are you done measuring? 

“Mr. Ashford, I’m done. A lot of renowned designers showed up, so I don’t think there’s much hope, Lily warned him in advance. 

Landon urged, “You have to give it your best shot, understood? If it doesn’t work, have dinner with Mr. Fulton tonight” 

Earlier that morning, Landon had subtly suggested Lily try to win over Xavier privately. After not getting a response, he made his request more direct. 

No matter how clear he was, Lily pretended not to understand. “Ms. Cane reached out earlier today asking about the delivery date for the fumiture she ordered. Can you follow up on that? I’ll go supervise the installation.” 

“Prioritize Mr. Fulton’s sadel Landon heard her sidestepping and insisted again. “Once we get Mr. Fulton’s design plans, I’ll have the factory ship out Ms. Cane’s fumiture.” Lily sighed. There was no avoiding it now. 

“Mr.Ashford, actually, I’m not really familiar with Mr. Fulton. If he truly wanted to give me the job, he would’ve just handed it to me directly. Don’t you understand what that 

means 

Landon paused to think. He acknowledged her point, but his belief in his instincts was strong.

Lily stood firm. “Thaven’t even had the chance to see Mr. Fulton, so I can’t take the initiative. Sorry about that.” 

“What’s there to apologize for? Landon said without hesitation. “Just do your best to salvage it. Trust me, I’ll help however I can!” 

Lily couldn’t think of anything that he could possibly help with
