Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 208

Henry was so furious that he didn't even want to speak. He gathered the documents in front of him and got up to leave the room.

Augustus suddenly gave him a warning. "Henry, I hope you haven't forgotten who's actually in charge of this company."

He was very displeased with Henry's earlier behavior.

Henry's steps faltered, and a flicker of venomous resentment flashed through his eyes. It was precisely because of this that he didn't dare to make any reckless moves against Suzanne. Otherwise, he would have taken action long ago with everything she had done lately.

Henry turned to look at Augustus with a smile, his tone mild as he said, "Of course, I remember. I owe it all to you, Augustus."

His gaze shifted to Suzanne as he added, "From now on, Suzanne, you should study more with your uncle. I have another meeting to attend, so I'll be heading out first."

Glancing at his watch, Henry turned and walked out of the conference room. But the moment he had his back toward them, his smile vanished completely.

One day, he would kick every last member of the Frost family out of Yates Corporation.

Augustus stared coldly at Henry's retreating figure. If Suzanne weren't here, he wouldn't have let this matter slide.

He never understood what Calista saw in Henry then.

Suzanne turned to look at Augustus. Gratitude shone in her eyes as she softly said, "Thank you, Uncle Augustus."

Her voice pulled Augustus from his thoughts, and he gave her a rather helpless look. "I'm your uncle, so there's no need to thank me. If you ever run into any trouble at the company, you must tell me right away."

There was concern in the way he looked at Suzanne. He could tell from today that these people wouldn't make things easy for her.

He sighed softly and added, "It'll be tough to start from the bottom, but it'll help you better understand the company when you take over in the future."
