Suzanne smiled at Roselynn. "Grab some snacks. We're heading out."
She hadn't planned on bringing Roselynn along, but she was worried that if she left Roselynn behind too often, Austin would find out.
Roselynn's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yes! Mrs. Hall, you're finally taking me out! If Mr. Hall knew you were letting me slack off at home, I'd be out of a job!"
With a laugh, Suzanne let Roselynn gather some food, and soon, they were on their way.
An hour later, they arrived at their destination. Stepping through the revolving glass door, they were greeted by the grand sight of a massive crystal chandelier. Bright light cascaded down, reflecting off the pristine white marble floor.
The hall's lavish decor featured a golden reception counter, where a large pot of vibrant purple clivia lilies added a lively touch to the luxurious space.
Their arrival immediately drew attention.
Suzanne wore a navy-blue embroidered skirt, paired with a simple white blouse. Her half-up hairdo was secured with a gem-encrusted hairpin, while the rest of her silky locks cascaded over her shoulder. She looked every bit the elegant lady of a wealthy family.
Envious and resentful glances followed her, whispers spreading in the air.
Roselynn, oblivious to the stares, gasped in awe. "This company is incredible! So extravagant!"
Suzanne smiled faintly and then turned to Roselynn. "Wait for me in the lounge."
Roselynn hesitated. "Are you sure you don't need me to come with you?"
"It's fine. The security here is decent."
After a brief pause, Roselynn nodded. "Alright then."
Happily, she bounced toward the lounge while Suzanne watched her retreating figure, a hint of fondness flickering in her eye as she made her way to the reception desk.
Two receptionists stood attentively behind the counter, their eyes filled with curiosity. They recognized Suzanne immediately. Her name had been trending on social media for days due to the rumors with Jenson.
One of the receptionists greeted her politely, "Miss, do you have an appointment?"
