Suzanne nodded at Shane, and he immediately looked at the man, saying, “Mr. Guerra, this is Jane.”

At that, Shane turned to Suzanne and introduced, ‘This is Marcin Guerra, the Mr. Guerra I mentioned to you before.”

Suzanne nodded lightly, but Marvin immediately frowned with a look of suspicion in his eyes. “This is Jane?”

Could this just be someone they found to cover for the actual person?

Suzanne, who was about to greet him, suddenly stopped

Shane’s playful smile faded slightly, and his expression turned serious as he looked at Marvin “Mr. Guerra, are you questioning me?”

Shane’s reputation in the industry was well–established, and everyone knew who he was.

Marvin immediately smiled flatteringly, saying, “No, no! How could I ever question you?

Though he said that, his gaze unknowingly shifted toward Suzanne, who remained silent.

Suzanne pulled out a chair and sat down. Her fingers lightly tapped on the table repeatedly. The atmosphere within the room immediately became tense.

Marvin subconsciously gulped. The young woman before him was beautiful and extremely young, but she ended an overwhelming pressure that made him feel uneasy. He began to regret his earlier words

He approached Suzanne with a smile on his face and quickly picked up the razpot on the table. He poured half a cup of tea for her and then set the teapot down

He then looked at Suzanne and apologized softly, “I’ve never met a miracle doctor before, and I never expected to see one an beautiful and young. Please forgive me.”

Suzanne’s gaze lingered on the half–filled teacup. She paused in her tapping for a moment, and she slowly lifted the teacup before taking a small sip. “Mr. Guerra, you’re overthinking it. It’s fine.”

After all, this wasn’t the first time something like this happened. She had somewhat grown used to it

When Marvin heard that, he let out a sigh of relief. He smiled lightly as he sat down

Suzanne lifted her gaze to look at him “Mr. Guerra, please explain the situation”

Marvin’s smile faded from his face, and he sighed deeply before speaking, “In the past, I was busy with my business. My wife took care of everything at home, so I rarely paid attention to thy family.”
