Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 305

Suzanne had resumed her duties, continuing to work. As people left the conference room, they gave her curious glances, but no one dared challenge her since she and Henry were in conflict.

Suzanne wasn't naturally defiant. Her confrontation with Henry was strategic, intended to signal to the company's employees that she would eventually lead the company. She wanted everyone to notice the tension between them and, in time, choose sides.

Once she showcased her design and business prowess, she'd prove her leadership skills. From this point forward, Henry was merely a stepping stone for her. A cold smile flashed in Suzanne's eyes as she anticipated the downfall of Henry and Seline.

At the hospital outpatient department, Marsha intentionally scheduled her follow-up appointment for the afternoon, knowing there would be fewer patients.

She opted for a short, fitted sleeveless top that highlighted her waist, along with wide-leg straight jeans that made her tall frame appear even taller. Her footwear consisted of simple yet chic white sneakers.

To complete her look, she wore a black hat and a mask that fully concealed her face, with only a small opening for her eyes. She steered clear of others' glances.

Next to Marsha stood Hazel, her assistant, dressed casually and wearing a mask. Many fans identified her as Marsha's assistant.

Marsha steered clear of the crowd and took a seat by the entrance of the busy examination room, grumbling, "That Charles never gives me any special treatment. Damn him."

Even though she was famous, she still had to wait in line at the outpatient clinic for her appointments. Her identity was delicate, but she had to sneak around during every visit, which made her very nervous.

She looked at Hazel and said, "I'll come by myself next time. You can stay home and relax."

Hazel was at a loss for words, her lips quivering a little. If Marsha showed up by herself, it was inevitable that she would clash with Charles. After being with Marsha for such a long time, how could Hazel not understand Marsha's thoughts?

Hazel said with a slight tone of helplessness, "Marsha, your health doesn't permit anger, much less getting into fights."

Marsha, realizing her motives were immediately transparent, remained calm. She reclined in her chair, feeling aimless and downcast.

After a brief pause, she turned to Hazel and asked, "Isn't there any way to handle this man?"

Hazel gave a faint smile and remained silent. She always sensed there was something unique about the relationship between Marsha and Charles.
