As Marsha leaned back on the couch at their booth, she observed Suzanne with a nonchalant gaze. Then, she whistled at Suzanne and teased her cheekily, "Babe, it's only been a few days since I last saw you, and you look even more attractive now."
Each time she saw Suzanne, she would be tempted to recruit her into acting. It was a waste for her not to join the entertainment industry.
Suzanne curled her lips slightly but disregarded Marsha's joke. She walked over and sat down on the couch at the booth. Smiling, she asked, "Have you ordered drinks?"
Marsha shook her head. She persisted, saying, "I was drawn to your beauty the moment I arrived. Would you like to join the industry? I'll allocate work for you right away if you do."
Although the role of the second female lead in "Crown of Destiny" would be somewhat a waste of her talents, it was a role that would still work for her. After all, it would be her first work in the entertainment industry.
Suzanne extended her arm and poked Marsha on her head. In a helpless tone, she said, "Don't try to take advantage of me."
Marsha was so persistent in persuading her.
Marsha laughed. She waved at the bar, signaling to a staff member to take their order.
Suzanne had pulled her phone out and was checking her messages when she heard a familiar voice.
"What would you both like to have? I have—"
Suzanne lifted her eyes, only to see Cheryl standing in front of them in a sexy, short dress. She looked a little uncomfortable in this outfit as she crossed her arms primly in front of her chest.
Cheryl stopped mid-sentence, and an embarrassed look came across her eyes.
Suzanne…
Now that she was working as a bar hostess, would Suzanne look down on her? Cheryl wished that she could vanish into thin air at this moment.
As she stood before Suzanne and compared herself to her, all of a sudden, she felt as insignificant as a speck of dust. A difference as such filled her with shame and inferiority.
Suzanne was also rather surprised to bump into Cheryl at this place. However, knowing that she was always in need of money and had worked many jobs, she didn't think much about it. She greeted naturally, "What a coincidence."
Cheryl's gaze flickered momentarily. She nodded. "It's such a coincidence. W-What would you both like to drink?"
