Her Majesty novel Chapter 37

Everyone was silent, only Sabina was still eating meat, as if this had nothing to do with her.

Ben frowned and said to me after thinking for a while, “Justin, you have to face it."

I was a little nervous, but the other people just recognized me as the boss, I had to agree and said, “How about I made apology to Mayor Chang, told him the truth and promised we will never to do it again, maybe he won't bother us.”

Ben said, "Apology is need, but I don't know the relationship between Mayor Chang and Jacob Jiang. Mayor Chang is a good man. I got in touch with him when I was an investor. I mentioned Housin Jiang, and he dealt with it. It is important that he does not suspect us of being restless and that we suppressed what happened the night before last."

I nodded and said, "Yes, what you said makes sense."

Ben continued to say, “It cannot be late, Justin, you now immediately go to Mayor Chang's home to admit the crime with sincere attitude. If he asked the thing of the night before yesterday, you can tell him about kidnap but not knife and gun. You said we only had a fight, understand?"

"Well he believes it?" I asked incredulously.

Ben smiled, “Rest assured, that project was signed by him. Even if he knew the truth, he won’t make it clear."

"Shall I bring something to Mayor Chang?" I asked.

Ben froze for a moment, pondering for a while, and said, “No, now we don’t know his temper, it may leave him a bad impression if we rashly bring gifts.

I nodded and said, "Well, I see."

With the address, I drove the car in a hurry to Mayor Chang’s. Sabina, as my bodyguard was quietly sitting in my copilot.

Looking at this bustling city, I felt my heart hart had mixed feelings. Not long ago I was like an ant in this city, in order to eat three meals a day and my sister's medical expenses, I had to endure bullying, but I did not expect I could get in the touch with mayor a few days later.

Life was just so wonderful.

At that moment, I suddenly saw a large number of people in front of me. I was in a hurry to go on my way, so I banged the horn twice. However, some people just looked back at me and the others were still there.

I had no way but to stop the car to see what was going on. I pushed my way into the crowd and saw an older woman lying on the ground, with her hand over her heart, moaning.

People nearby were talking about her but no one came forward to help her.

She was blue in the face and had trouble breathing. She must be suffering from some kind of disease. At the sight of her misery, I thought of my sister in the hospital and felt a surge of compassion.

I ran to the front and asked the woman, “Madam, what is wrong with you? Are you sick? Shall I take you to the hospital?"

She opened her eyes, glanced at me and said, “Come take me to the hospital. I, I had a heart attack, forget, forget to take medicine."

I hurriedly said, “Madam, hold on for a while. I will drive you to the hospital."

Someone dissuaded me, saying, "Be careful, young man, there are so many racketeers these days. You can't get away without thousand dollars."
