Chapter 11 After the Ecleteon’s Attack

The first thing that Queen Asalea saw when she opened her eyes was the black wall in front of her. She recognized the place instantly. She is in their bedroom. She tried to recall what happened during the attack of the Ecleteon Werewolves and her eyes instantaneously grew wide. Where is her husband? She struggled to wake up but upon hitting the floor, her feet run swiftly out of the room. She needs to find her husband.

Her feet brought her to the living room where she finds her husband talking to Greckos. Both men turned their faces to her when they heard her called on the name of King Timodore.

“Wife, are you okay now?” King Timodore hurriedly approached Queen Asalea and hugged her. She hugged him back.

“I was afraid when I walked up and found you not beside me.” She said looking at her husband with a twinge of fear in her eyes.

King Timodore caressed her back while saying that he is okay and that all the Ecleteon Werewolves who attacked them were all dead.

Upon hearing those words, Queen Asalea disengaged from King Timodore, with satisfaction on her face now which has glinted a while ago with a sudden rush of anger.

“You stabbed the heart of King Burkano until it became like tiny bits of bread. Did you remember that my wife?” King Timodore’s eyes are somewhat inquisitive as they looked directly unto the woman’s reaction upon hearing his statement.

“Yes, I do. King Burkano deserved it.” She said with a streak of hatred in her eyes.

“I have this hint that King Burkano has offended you in a way in the past my wife. Am I correct?” This time King Timodore’s face is already stricken with seriousness.

“Yes, he did. But I don’t want to elaborate it right now.” Queen Asalea retreated and excused herself from the two men. King Timodore and Dreckos glanced at each other with curiosity, dancing both in their watchful eyes.
