Marshall finished tilling and landscaping the palace garden. Hungry, he walked to the dining area. His forehead furrowed as he felt that seems like someone is around or has been around. He could smell a different scent inside. He made his sense of smell stronger and tried to concentrate trying to sense if someone is nearby.
The smell is slowly fading until it was gone. Marshall became alert as there might be someone who was able to come inside the palace without his knowledge.
Queen Asalea on one hand had just left the Knostican Palace. After locking gently and safely the secret room, she decided to return to the Glodeos Kingdom. She decided to talk to her husband to help her revive the Knostican Palace and showed him some of the pieces of gold that she brought with her. She kept the gold first underneath their bed.
She got out of their bedroom and look for Dreckos.
“Hi Dreckos,” Queen Asalea greeted Dreckos as she saw him in the corridor on the ground floor.
“Queen Asalea, hello.” Dreckos greeted back and smiled.
“Are you going somewhere Dreckos? Would you know what time usually my husband returned when he is visiting his hotels?” she further asked.
“I am about to meet him at Tim & Dore Hotel III. I am going there right now.”
“Can I come with you Dreckos?” She smiled at him trying to convince him to allow her to come.
Dreckos looked at Queen Asalea and nodded. “Sure Queen Asalea. I am not really sure why he told me before he left, to meet him there at five o’clock in the afternoon.”
Queen Asalea smiled at Dreckos. “Let’s go then.”
Dreckos guide Queen Asalea to the parking lot of the Palace. He opened the door of a new Mustang parked therein and asked her to come inside as he will be driving it going to the hotel. Queen Asalea was in awe.
Still in awe; Queen Asalea, got inside the car and sit comfortably in the backseat.
They drove to the city so fast that it only took them at least 15 minutes to arrive at the marvelous Tim & Dore Hotel III.
As they entered the hotel, Queen Asalea really admired the elegant design of its interiors. From the main door until they reached the office of King Timodore, all the staff greeted them courteously.
“Dreckos, I could smell all the staff, they are all vampires and the guests, I smelled some human mortals here.” Queen Asalea murmured to Dreckos before he knocked on the door of King Timodore’s office.
“Yes, but the Company has a policy; no human mortals inside this hotel should be harmed by any vampire staff or guests,” Dreckos replied.
