Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 159

Winnie suddenly gave a bitter smile, and then she answer Rufus's question after a moment of silence.

"Uncle, do you know Wendy?"

"Yes, she's coming back."

Seeing Winnie’s bitter smile and hearing the name of Wendy, Rufus had known why Brian wanted to separate with Winnie.

"Don't worry about it, Sir. There's nothing going on between me and Mr. Bennet. I just hope Luke can stay away from Penny so that he can grow up healthily."

Winnie had no hope for other things. She just wanted Luke to be safe.

"Winwin, don’t worry, I won’t allow her to be with Luke. I will not spare her if Brian and Grandfather do not punish her."

Rufus was still indignant. He would not forgive what Penny did to Luke. Penny would not have an easy life in the Bennet family.

Rufus paused at that. There was something he could not understand.

"Winwin, I don't understand why you are so kind to Luke. Brian is Luke's father. He can't do as much as you do."

Rufus had wondered about it for a long time, since the date he knew Winnie. It was impossible that she treated him as her own child even if she wanted to be with Brian.

Winnie did not answer, but continued to think.

Brian would know it soon. If he knew it, his family would know it, so it had no sense to hide it.

"Sir, how much do you know about it? You should know that Penny is not his mother..."

"You heard it from Luke?"

Rufus's anger subsided a little and his tone softened. He interrupted her, apparently she knew more than he thought.

"Some are from Luke, some is my personal experience."

Winnie lifted her eyes and looked at Rufus. There was sincerity in her eyes, as well as fact and truth.

"From experience?”

Rufus asked with some doubt.

"Right, because I am Luke's biological mother."

Winnie said seriously. No one could change this fact.

"You are Luke's biological mother?"

Rufus looked at Winnie in surprise.

He knew that Luke was born of surrogacy and he knew the reason. But it did not come to him that Luke's mother was silently protecting him.

"Right, I am Luke's biological mother, Megan is his younger sister. They are twins."

Winnie answered Rufus with a firm tone.

"Megan is a child of our family?"

Rufus was shock by that. It all came too suddenly. Even though he experienced a lot, he needed time.

So, that was the reason why Winnie was attentive to Luke. Megan was his grandchild, no wonder he liked Megan at the first sight.

"Yes. I was selfish. I didn’t want to give her to Brian, so I kept Megan."

Winnie was not calm as she thought of the past.

"Did Brian know?"

This seemed to be a more serious question.

"No, but he's suspicious and is taking samples from us for DNA tests. It won't be long before he finds out."

Rufus frowned. He did not ask more but think.

If Brian knew it, he would get the custody of Megan, which was cruel to Winnie.

A moment later.

"Winwin, what do you plan to do?"

Rufus asked.

"I am selfish, I want to live with my two children. But it is not to me. My plan is only a thought."

Winnie raised her lips in self-mockery, and then continued.

"Once Mr. Berry knows that Megan is his child, he will definitely take both Megan and Luke back. I think getting custody of my children will be hard. So it depends on Mr. Berry."

“What about Brian? Don’t you want to be with him? Only when parents and children live together, it would be the perfect ending."

Hearing that, Winnie showed an ironical radian.

"Sir, it's impossible. It's more difficult. Reality could not make the four of us live together, but love. Love is the pickiest."

"Mr. Berry likes Wendy, so he will not be with me."

Winnie had never dared to hope for a family of four, not to mention Brian would fall in love with her. The most important thing for her now was to keep the two children. To think of anything else was like a sin.

"Give me time, I will find a way. Don't worry, I won't let things get as bad as you think."

Rufus did not know what to do at the moment. He understood love and never interfered with Brian and Stella's marriage, because he wanted them to find their own love.
