Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 196

Stella was a woman in her late 40s. Although she had never participated in the management of the Bennet Group, she was clever and competent.

Once Brian encountered difficulties, he would come to his sister for help.

To Brian, Stella was a sister, a mother and a teacher.

“I am good.”

Stella said with excitement.

“You must be tired from your trip, have a seat.”

Brian pulled his sister to sit down on the sofa and then he continued.

“Why didn’t you tell me you would come back, so that I can pick you up? Where is your luggage?”

“I want to surprise you. Paul picked me up and my luggage is in his car. He is waiting me downstairs and I will go see Dad.”

Stella said in a soft voice.

“Did you come back by yourself? Where is your husband?”

Hearing that Stella mentioned his father, he changed the topic.

“He is busy and has no time to come back. But he will be back after some time.”

Although her brother was a excellent grown-up, he was still a little boy in her eyes.

“Why did you come back suddenly? Is there anything wrong?”

Brian asked.

“Dad told me that Uncle Thomas is back, so I came and see what I can do for you.”

It was a simple reason, but Brian was moved.

“I can deal with it. Thank you for coming back, sister.”

Brian understood the meaning of Stella’s words.

“Bring Luke back for dinner, I miss him.”

Stella got up, because she had not seen her father yet.

“I don’t know if I have time at night, but I will bring Luke back.”

Brian did not want to go to the suburb.

Winnie used to be there, and he would go there. But since after Winnie moved out, he had not been there for once. Without she around, he did not feel at ease.

“Oh, you have work. Try your best then. I gotta go, Dad is waiting for me.”

Stella did not force him, because she knew Brian had a bad relationship with his father.

But Paul said their relationship had been improved and he often went back. She was confused why he refused today.

But she did not ask him.

She wanted to live for a longer time and she could have a chat with him about it.

Stella was to leave, but was stopped by Brian.

“Sister, have a seat, I have something important to tell you.”

“Important thing?”

Stella sat down again with doubts.

After a moment of thinking, Brian told her about Megan, but he did not mention Winnie.

He wanted to tell Stella about her cute and clever daughter and wanted to bring Megan to see his sister.

Stella was shocked to hear that.

“I never thought that Luke has a sister. I don’t know what to say now.”

Stella was surprised.

“I was shocked too, but I am happy. She is cute and clever. Sister, you will like her.”

Brian said. Stella had never thought that Brian would like kids.

“Where is she now?”

Stella asked. It was a happy thing to have a more kid, but she asked with a serious tone.

“They are with their mother.”

Brian then told her about the custody of the kids, but he did not say it was for the sake of Winnie. He said he was afraid that Wendy would not accept it and that Grandpa would have an impact on Luke.

“Sister, Grandpa has not yet known about Luke’ custody. I don’t want him to know it, please hide it from him.”

Brian was afraid that it would have bad influence on Winnie if it was revealed, so he had to ask his sister to do so.

“…I really don’t know what to say. I won’t tell Grandpa, but can’t Wendy still accept Luke?”

Stella said with concern.

From her point of view, it was not the key problem that her grandpa did not agree, because he was in his 90s, and he would not have impact on Luke. But Wendy would not come back if she could not accept Luke.

So what was the problem? It seemed that she needed to see the mother of the children.

“If she could accept Luke, she would not leave.”

He felt it make sense.

“Ok, bring her over at night, bring her mother over too.”

Stella said and got up again.

“Sister, I am not sure, but I will try.”

Brian was not sure if Winnie would come with him, but he wanted to have a try.

It was a reason that he could stay with Winnie and he did not want to miss that.
