Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 240

Richard did not continue. Thomas did not ask any more questions. When Thomas turned to leave, Richard remembered his daughter.

"How is Penny?"

"I got her a single room, added food and left her money. There is no problem in her life at all. Don't worry about her, and think of yourself."

Thomas was still cold.

"That's good. Please get her out as soon as possible."

Richard continued with his request. He thought it was a triviality for Thomas, and it was nothing compared with the secrets he had.

"You're pushing your luck. She's a threat if she comes out. Your daughter will only spoil you. And I warn you not to keep in touch with your family. The more people know you, the more dangerous you are. Don't say I can't help you."

Thomas had his purpose to temporarily help Richard, but he would not be controlled.

Thomas felt angrily with that, but Richard did not care about his words.

He was reassured to know that his daughter was doing well in prison.

Kevin finally came back from his business trip, so he invited Brian to his home and prepared dinner for Brian and Daenerys in person. Having learned the lesson of the last time, this time they did not ask Winnie over.

On the dinner table.

"Why did you come to see me last time?"

Kevin asked Brian, while helping Daenerys with food, which made Brian envy.

"Nothing, I just wanted to chat with you, I did not know you were not home."

Brian wanted to have the happiness of Kevin. Be happy every day and have the beloved woman around.

"I thought it was anything important. Brian, you are in a good mood. Good news?"

Kevin saw a slight improvement in Brian's face, not as good as when he was with Winnie, but he was more relaxed than a few days ago.

"Luke won the first prize, and Megan succeeded in persuading Grandpa to let Luke live with his mother, both of which were very happy."

Speaking of Megan, Brian involuntarily raised his mouth and began to talk more.

"It's strange, Grandpa never listened to anyone in his life, but he was convinced by Megan in a couple of words."

"Megan is clever and said sweetly. I don’t know from whom she inherited this gene."

Brian flaunted, and felt no adjective could describe Megan. This child played it by ear, pleased people, and knew what people like to hear and what they don't like to hear. And she could always find an irresistible way.

He was proud and smiled. Children were the most beneficial moral support for him.

Kevin hadn't seen such Brian for a long time. Megan was pleasing, and it seemed that he had completely come out in the haze because of children.

Daenerys said.

"Before Winwin's family was in distress, she was like Megan. But she had experienced so much, and the burden on her shoulders was so heavy, that her naivete and vivacity had all been worn away. But her kindness and generosity never changed. Her calm was through so many years of suffering."

"How can I put it? That's probably the way people live. Even nature fades little by little over time, and something new comes into soul."

"But I still hope Winwin can lead a carefree life like she used to. Now her smile is disguised and her ease is false."

Daenerys knew that she should not say that, but she suddenly thought of Winnie in that past. She felt sad that Winnie changed a lot.

Daenerys's words made Brian's rare smile suddenly disappear. Now he knew that Winnie used to be lively.

"What on earth happened to Winwins?"

Brian asked about things many years ago. Thinking about it carefully, he seemed to have never asked about Winnie's past.

Daenerys couldn't help sighing.

"It's a bit sad, probably worse than the hell. Winwin’s parents..."

"Honey, your cell phone is ringing."

As Daenerys just started, Kevin reminded her.

"Oh, you eat, I will answer the phone."

And so the conversation ended when Daenerys left the table.

"Brian, everything will be all right. Take your time."

Kevin comforted him.

"Yes, it will be all right. I will talk to Grandpa about Megan and get her recognized by the Bennet family as soon as possible."

Brian's low voice sounded depressed.

"What about Winwin?"

Kevin reminded that Brian's decision needed to be considered.
