Winnie said painfully, picked up the glass and was to drink again. Kevin was worried and reached out to grab the glass.
“Winwin, don't drink.”
“I am ok, you are a doctor, don’t worry.”
Winnie said jokingly, but this joke was sad.
“Let her drink, so that she can get the pain out of her mouth.”
Daenerys felt distressed about Winnie, but it would be no use to stop her. She hoped that Winnie would vent out her grievances, so that she could start all over from tomorrow.
“You can drink, but don’t drink so fast. If you drink like this, I can help you even if I am a doctor.”
Kevin persuaded Winnie. It was dangerous for a man who was not good at drinking drank a lot.
“Ok, I will drink slowly.”
Winnie took a sip and then began to speak.
“He usually calls me Winwin, but in front of Wendy, he called me Winnie. Do you think he was afraid that Wendy will be angry? If so, don’t show up to me again. Don’t come to me, don’t hug me.”
“Hypocritical man, I hate him.”
Winnie said she hated him, but love had occupied her heart.
Had it not been for her deep love for him, such a trifle would not have hurt her so much.
“Winwin, it is your choice to deal with this situation like that, so you should be relaxed.”
Oscar said. He had never seen such Winnie. She must have grievances.
“Yes, so I have no complaints. Even if Brian didn't talk to me like that, I wouldn't send Wendy to the police station for his sake. I was sad that he did not trust me and not let me deal with Wendy.”
“I don't know what I did wrong that made him so distrustful of me.”
“I am … speechless.”
Winnie had been unable to use language to describe Brian's attitude to her, in short, she was worse than beggar in his eyes.
With that, she drank up the rest of the wine in the glass. Oscar and Daenerys felt distressed but they could not help.
However, Winnie did not know that it was recorded by Kevin and sent to Brian.
Winnie continued.
“Daenerys, Oscar, you know, I live a very, very tired life. I want to give my aunt, sister, the children a good life, so I work all the time. I am tired but I feel happy. But Brian...”
Winnie broke down and had to stop.
“Don't think about it, and try not to contact him in the future. Since you can’t be together, forget him and you will be ok.”
Daenerys persuaded Winnie. With that, she shed tears too.
She understood Winnie was tired, hurtful and helpless, so she felt distressed for her.
“I see it differently. Winwin, if you really love Brian and can't forget him, you should try to pursue your happiness. Since you are painful, why not try, maybe there will be a different result.”
Oscar expressed his opinion, which was the same as Kevin.
“That's my opinion. You are painful anyway, so go for it.”
Kevin hastened to say.
“It's no use. I can only make myself more humble by fighting for it. He loves Wendy so much, how can there be my existence in his eyes? Even if we are together, I can't accept that he still loves Wendy.”
“Forget it, the gap between us is too big, he is the man I can’t be with in my life.”
Winnie's mood was low. She knew everyone was for her good, but she really did not have the courage to close the distance between her and Brian.
...
Daenerys held to her opinion, and Oscar and Kevin still held to their opinions.
As they were discussing, the doorbell rang.
Kevin ran to open the door. The next moment, Brian frowned and stood in front of Winnie with a cold face.
Winnie was not aware of the arrival of Brian. As she raised the glass, it was grabbed by Brian.
“Stop.”
Winnie looked up along with the sound.
“Why are you here? You are the last person I want to see at this moment. Go, go now. Or I'll go.”
As Winnie said this, she got up and almost fell down because she was top-heavy with alcohol. Brian held her luckily.
“Winwin...”
“Don't call me Winwin. How many times do I have to tell you before you remember? Just call me Winnie. This address is good, call me so in the future.”
