Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 325

Felix took back his cold line of sight, but his voice was still sharp. Then Felix suddenly became angry and banged the table hard.

"Wendy, I don't even know what to say to you. What have you ever done and you dare to take credit?"

He was once again disappointed at Wendy. Even if she had a good family background, she did not deserve to be Brian’s wife.

"You went abroad for four years, what you have learnt? You got nothing!"

Felix was angrily looking at Wendy who was in daze. He had made it clear and she did not understand it.

"Wendy, break up with Brian. You don't deserve to marry into the Bennet family. You even have no basic morals, how can you be Brian’s woman? How can you educate my descendants?"

Felix stared at Wendy angrily and then walked to the door. Just then Butler Lowe came in.

"Chairman, the car is ready, we can go now."

They gradually disappeared in the line of sight of Wendy.

At this time, Wendy was still stunned. She kept asking herself what was wrong and what she had said that had angered Felix.

Was he serious about asking her to leave Brian? Why?

Wendy wanted to cry. Felix put the words vaguely, and she did not know what she had done wrong. She tried to please Felix, but it became worse.

Felix did make an appointment to see Winnie.

Looking at Winnie sitting on his opposite, thinking of the dirty behavior Wendy did, Felix finally understood a saying, “If there is no contrast, there is no harm.”

"You seem to have something on your mind, Chairman. If you don’t feel well, we can meet another day."

Winnie said in a warm voice.

Felix was usually super serious, but today he was gloomy since he came into the teahouse. Winnie guessed there must be something happening.

Felix sighed before he said anything.

"I am not in a good mood, but it has nothing to do with you."

Then Felix calmed down.

"Winnie, I asked you out today because I wanted to thank you. Brian came home because of your contribution. I thank you for continuing to perform the contract even if it had been canceled."

Felix thanked a few people in his life, but since Winnie showed up, he had been saying it more and more.

He did not know if he was old and got emotional, or if Winnie had done something worth being thanked.

"Chairman, I did not do anything, you don’t have to thank me. If everybody is happy because he is back, that is enough."

Winnie was modest and sensible.

Winnie's words reminded Felix of Wendy.

One was to take credit for someone else's work, the other was to do something worthy of gratitude but quietly denied it. Their characters could be seen.

Winnie paused for a moment before she continued.

"Chairman, actually I want to see you too. I've been thinking about it for days and I don't know how to say it. It is improper I mention it, because I feel swanking."

Winnie whispered, and then took off the necklace and held it in hand.

"I haven't had a birthday present since my parents died. Mr. Bennet gave it to me some time ago. When I asked him how much it was, he said a thousand. I thought it was a small sum, so I accept it."

Winnie took a breath and continued.

"I was with him and everyone said I was for the money, so I avoided such topic as much as possible. This necklace is the only thing I have accepted from the moment we met."

"But I didn't realize that the necklace is worth more than five million. That amount of money was pressure and burden on me."

Winnie said while looking at the necklace in her hand.

"When I knew it is worth more than 5 million, I went straight to Mr. Bennet and gave it back to him without hesitation. But he said if I took the necklace, he would move back to the suburbs to live with his father, so I took it back."

"I'm sorry, Chairman. I must have let you down."

Winnie said and gave the necklace to Felix.

"Chairman, this is why I wanted to see you. Now that he is home, the necklace is meaningless. It's too expensive for me to accept it. Please keep it for him."

Winnie gave the necklace to Felix with reluctance, not for five million yuan, but for Brian and the special meaning of the necklace.

Felix had been listening carefully. He finally knew the reason why Brian got home and felt Winnie's honesty.

He did not understand how Winnie knew the true value of the necklace since Brian had concealed it.

Felix did not speak, but looked at the delicate necklace in silence. He could see that Winnie loved the necklace very much.

"How do you know this necklace is worth more than five million?"

Felix asked in a low voice, while Winnie was hesitant.

"I looked it up on the Internet."

She answered without confidence and Felix sensed something wrong.

"If I'm not wrong, it's a customized version. You can't find the customized version on the Internet. The craftsman should protect the privacy of the buyer and not display it casually."

“Who told you that?”

Felix had been contacting with Winnie for a long time, and he knew her well. She was lying, but he knew it was a white lie.
