Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 367

Brian was impatient and then interrupted Kevin’s words.

“You can shut up, everybody knows it and you don’t have to give us a lesson.”

“Doctor Burns, I also think you should keep your mouth shut and make a good meal, or we’ll be hungry at noon.”

Leo added. The two men turned to their respective duties, ignoring Kevin’s eloquence.

“I am right. If I don’t speak, will you stop? Now you gang up to blame me.”

Kevin had not finished his words, but as long as there was no quarrel, it was good.

They stayed at Kevin’s home all day and left after dinner.

Winnie wanted to go back to her home, Brian asked her to go to the suburbs. Finally he failed to persuade her but he did not leave. He got in Winnie’s car, no matter where Winnie went, he was with her.

Brian sat in the co-pilot’s seat. He looked at the bright and lively night scene outside and then at Winnie who was focusing on driving. He seemed to enjoy it very much.

As he was enjoying this comfortable moment, Wendy called him.

Seeing that, he frowned and took a look at Winnie before he picked up the phone.

“What is it?”

Brian’s callous voice and the bright fireworks outside created a world of ice and fire.

“Brian, my mother has been a little out of line today. Please don’t be angry. I talked to her after you left, and it was only because you hadn’t been home for so long that she said that. She misses you and doesn’t think you’re a stranger, and that is why she said that.”

“Brian, are you angry? I’m sorry for that. I promise it won’t happen again.”

Wendy gave a sincere apology, afraid of Brian hung up the phone and did not give her a chance to explain.

“Wendy, I won’t go to your home these days. Don’t come to me in the next few days. Let me have a good rest. I’ll contact you when it is time for work and we’ll talk about it.”

Brian’s tone eased when he heard Wendy’s soft voice.

“Brian, I know you are angry. But your will go to work on the seventh day, and we have leisure time finally, I want to be with you. Brian, I...”

“Stop and do what I tell you. I’ll call you.”

Brian cruelly interrupted the words of Wendy, and then hung up the phone.

He wanted to be quiet and not think about the annoying things.

After the phone was put down, the car was silent for a while. Winnie knew it was Wendy who made the call, but she didn’t ask. Finally, Brian spoke.

“Don’t you wonder what I said to Wendy?”

Brian looked sideways at Winnie.

“Yes, I’m curious about everything about you. But I can’t ask. It’s your private affairs.”

Winnie answered insipidly. She would be curious about Brian all her life, but her curiosity could not be satisfied.

“You love me carefully.”

Brian helplessly shook his head. He knew that Winnie was a cautious and a noble person, but he really hoped that Winnie could be selfish in love.

“If I’m not careful, I’ll be haunting you now. If I do that, it would be hard for you, and after a while you wouldn’t like me.”

“Whatever I do, it’s better to be sensible, and that’s what keeps it going.”

Winnie had her own rules. If the person sitting next to her was her boyfriend or husband, she must ask who made the call and what they said.

But he was not, if she asked, it would only annoyed Brian.

“Everything you say is right.”

Brian sighed and continued to say.

“It’s Wendy apologized to me. But there was no need anymore. I decided to straighten things out with her when I get to work and end our relationship.”

As he said that, his attitude changed and his voice sank. Winnie saw Brian was upset, after all, it took him more than four years to get Wendy.

“Are you willing to? If you don’t want to break up, talk with chairman and get married with her. Even if you make another choice, it may not be true love.”

Winnie thought she must be crazy. How could she persuade the man she loved to marry another woman?

It was normal though, because she loved him and wanted the person she loved to be happy.

“You are my true love. Grandpa will choose. I don’t care as long as he’s happy.”
