Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 378

They went back to Winnie’s room and closed the door. After making sure the children could not hear them, Winnie began to explain.

“Two children were hungry when we came back from the suburbs, and there were no ingredients at home, so I took them to eat hotpot. The waiter of the hotpot shop accidentally spilled the hot soup and scalded Megan.”

“But don’t worry, the hotpot shop owner was very active to Megan treatment. He even sent Megan to the hospital and paid the medical bills.”

“It was Doctor Burns dealt with it, he said nothing is serious, do you don’t have to worry.”

Winnie was afraid that Brian would be angry at the hotpot shop, so she spoke for the hotpot shop.

“Really?”

Brian asked with concerns.

“Yes, Doctor Burns won’t let us come back if it is serious.”

“Don’t worry, it’s late and hurry up to bed.”

“Winnie went to the wardrobe to get pajamas, but when she turned around, Brian saw that her back was dirty.

“Winwin, why are your clothes dirty in the back?”

With these words, Brian walked up behind her and touched the dirty part of her clothes.

But when he touched her, Winnie’s felt painful. She could not control herself and let out a cry.

“Ah...”

“What’s the matter?”

Brian quickly moved his hand away, not knowing how he hurt Winnie.

Winnie then remembered that she was also splashed by the soup, but at that time she only paid attention to the children and she did not feel hurt.

“Maybe I got scalded too.”

“Take your clothes off and let me see.”

Brian got nervous again.

He helped Winnie carefully take off her clothes, only to find that the burn was more than a little. There were blisters everywhere where it was splashed by the soup.

Brian looked angry and distressed.

“This hotpot shop is too irresponsible, doesn’t it know you got scalded? Go to the hospital right away. You need to take care of it.”

Brian put Winnie’s clothes on again, but Winnie stopped him.

“I don’t need to go to the hospital. The ointment Doctor Burns prescribed for Megan is outside. Just bring it and apply it on me.”

Brian opened the door quickly and went out to get the ointment. When he returned, Winnie sat on the bed wearing a dressing gown.

“Why are you wearing that, if the blisters are broke, you will have ache.”

Brian said with dissatisfaction, and then help Winnie take off the dressing gown.

“Lie on the bed.”

Brian ordered.

Then Winnie lay on the bed. Brian covered Winnie’s lower body with a quilt so that she would not get cold.

Brian sat beside Winnie and began to apply the ointment on her with great care. His move was very light and gentle, afraid of touching Winnie.

“Be careful next time. It is not serious, if it is serious, you will regret it.”

Brian said while applying the ointment.

“At that time, I only paid attention to the children but myself. You would do that too if it were you.”

Winnie felt it did not matter she got hurt but had been blamed herself that Megan got hurt.

“Yes, but be careful. It’s my fault. If I had insisted on coming back with you, it wouldn’t have happened.”

Brian did blame himself that he was not persistent enough.

But in Winnie’s opinion, it would have been more serious if Brian had been there.

“What are you blaming yourself for? It’s not your fault. Forget it and talk about work tomorrow.”

Winnie changed the subject, afraid that she would tell the truth.

“Did you tell Wendy I am going to work in the Bennet Group?”

Winnie asked Brian.

“No, I don’t have to report to her about work.”

Brian said in a cold voice, because Wendy was mentioned.

“It is not only about the work. If she knows I work there, she will make a scene.”

Winnie could even imagine that.

“No, I will talk to her tomorrow and she will have no chance to make a scene after that.”

Brian had made up his mind, and he didn’t want any change to make it waver.

“What about Chairman? Did you tell him? Don’t embarrass me at work.”
