Wendy did not feel Brian’s words comfort but warm. She answered with a bitter smile.

“I know, Brian, I know we can’t be together, but I can’t control myself. I need time to forget the six years of the time we spend together. Never mind, I will get over.”

Wendy did not say words to stick to Brian, but she was hurtful to say that.

“Brian, I am sorry for what happened today. My Mom ran out after she asked me some questions, I am sorry I failed to stop her. I am sorry she hit Winwin.”

Brian said differently.

“In those years, I asked her to give birth a child for me, she insisted to go abroad. I did not stop her, but I urged her to go back for years, and she refused. Zoe, how many men can wait for a woman for six years?”
