Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 435

Leo could take care of Winnie, but as a friend. He did not have other motives.

Leo continued to joke.

“If I have to take care of you, Emily must be with me, otherwise I can't bear the responsibility.”

“You don’t need to take care of me. I just have a cold. Why are you so nervous?”

“Well, you can go back. I am fine, don't worry. If you stay long, you will be infected.”

Winnie did not want more people to get sick, and didn't want everyone to worry about her. She could ask them to leave.

“All right, if nothing happens, we will leave first. If no one is with you in the evening, you can call me, I will be here.”

Emily decided to leave, not because of Winnie but she was tired of acting.

After Leo and Emily left, Winnie felt ill again and felt her body temperature rising. For fear of affecting Brian's work, she had to call a doctor by herself.

After the doctor's examination, the nurse began to give infusion to Winnie.

As the infusion just began, before the doctor and nurse had left, Brian came to the ward.

“Have a fever again?”

When Brian saw the doctor and nurse, he guessed that Winnie had a fever.

“Yes, but not that high. The temperature is 38.5 degrees. It does not need medicine to cool down temporarily.”

The doctor answered Brian.

“Why get a fever again? She is taking medicine and getting infusion, but she doesn’t get well.”

Brian was worried. Winnie's physical quality was weak, and she could not stand such a torment. Brian was really afraid that Winnie would get fainted.

“The virus is obstinate, and all these patients have repeat fevers. But it is not a high fever, it is better.”

“You don't have to worry, after this infusion, she will feel much better, and she will be fine by tomorrow morning at the latest.”

The doctor understood Brian's eagerness, as family members were in such a mood.

“Can we go home?”

Brian asked. He was afraid that Winnie could not rest well in the hospital.

“Yes, you can go home when the infusion is over. But prepare some medicine to reduce fever in case you need it.”

The doctor allowed Winnie to go home. Even if she was in the hospital, she could only take antipyretics.

The doctor explained and left the room with the nurse.

Winnie at this time was dizzy.

“Have you got your work done?”

Winnie did not care about herself but concerned about Brian's work.

“Yes. I'll bright you some hot water. You can’t have a fever all the time though it is not high.”

Brian got up, then Winnie held Brian's hand weakly.

“I can't drink it now. I'll drink it later.”

Winnie's hand was hot, which made Brian even more worried.

“Then drink it later. Take medicine if you have a high temperature.”

Brian felt sorry but had no other way.

Winnie closed her eyes, but did not let go of her hand on Brian.

“I feel very tired. I really want to lie here and not to think anything.”

Winnie said with emotion, but she was not tired physically but mentally.

“If you are tired don't work. You can rest for a lifetime with me around.”

Brian said it with certainty, because he could be sure of it. Let alone a lifetime, he could support her for a few lifetimes even if she did not work.

“Then I will become a waste? I’d better work, it doesn’t matter to be tired.”

Winnie would rather feel tired than to be supported with money. Her only dignity was not to give in to money.

“I want to go to sleep. I'll be all right after a good sleep. Please keep an eye on the infusion.”

Winnie said polite words in a naughty way. She did not want to trouble anyone, but she had to.

It was not a high fever and there was no pain in her body, but she was so dizzy that she couldn't think of anything. She could let herself fall asleep.

Winnie soon fell asleep, and Brian sat by the bed.

It was Winnie who had held his hand. Now he was holding her hand in his own.

Looking at Winnie's reddish face, looking at her dry lips due to fever, Brian felt sad.

Although Winnie loved him, Brian felt that she reserved and did not dare to express all her love.

She was so insecure about love that she dared not give away all she had. However, he gave Winnie this feeling of insecurity.

When Winnie woke up, she felt much better and her temperature dropped.

But it didn't look like she was in the hospital.

Looking around, Winnie was sure that she was in hilltop villa.

This was a place she didn't want to come to, since she knew that the woman in the picture was very important to Brian, she had no feelings for this place. She felt she would fight for Brian with that woman.

When Winnie got up, Brian came in.

“You are up.”

Brian went to the bed and touched Winnie's forehead to make sure that she did not have a fever.

“What time is it and why am I here?”

Winnie felt confused and did not know what time it was.
