Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 897

"Rufus, we want to apologize to Mr. Bennet, but Mr. Bennet did not give us a chance."

Klara tried to be redeeming, not for the job, not Brian, but her own dignity.

"That's your business, he has his reasons for not giving you a chance, and I can do nothing about it."

Rufus smiled indifferently, he knew the reason, but he didn't say it.

The person they should not apologize was not Brian. The two of them clearly didn't put Winnie in their eyes, so how could Brian accept their apology?

"Rufus ......"

"Dad, you haven't finished your meal yet, so finish it and get some rest."

Wendy tried to say something, but Brian had already walked behind his father and spoke up to interrupt Wendy.

But the way he addressed his father caused Wendy and Klara to be momentarily stunned.

They were as clear on this issue as the people involved, and felt that Brian would never be able to forgive his father in his lifetime. But now he called out "Dad", was it because of Winnie?

"Ok, my meal will get cold if I don't eat it. You go back too, Winwin and the children are waiting for you."

Rufus answered Brian, without Brian's words, he really didn't know how to get rid of these two women in front of him.

"Please go back, both of you, this is a ward and the patient needs plenty of rest."

Before Wendy and Klara could react from the shock, Paul had already opened his mouth to send them off. So they had to leave with doubts.

"Get well, Rufus, we'll come over to see you sometime."

"Wish you have a speedy recovery and go back home early."

The two men said their goodbyes, and then awkwardly looked at each other as they left together.

After Winnie took the two children and Vanessa out, they waited for Brian in the small park at the hospital. They had come in one car, if there was another car, Winnie would have already driven away.

Now she sat helplessly on a park chair waiting for Brian while the two children played on the side.

"Sis, the fact that these two came together proves that they are still together. You should be careful in the future, it looks like they will not give up."

Vanessa reminded her sister, fearing that she was being set up by these two women.

Winnie laughed in disbelief at Vanessa's words.

"How can you tell they will not give up?"

"Any fool can see that, coming together proves they've been in touch. When they entered the ward, the only person they didn't talk to was you. That's proof they still treat you like an enemy."

Vanessa had noticed the attitude of the two men from the moment she entered the ward, they had been complimentary to everyone else and clearly unfriendly to her sister.

"Why does Rufus not take your feelings into account, since you are still here?"

For Rufus's non-refusal, Vanessa had a bit of sourness in her heart.

"It's because I'm here, Rufus can't go overboard. They came to visit Rufus, how rude and uncultivated would it be to throw them out."

"Rufus did the right thing, you don't have to think much about it."

Winnie didn't blame Rufus. After all, they didn't have the status or reason to blame him.

"Sis, you believe they came over to see Rufus? They're using that as an excuse to meet Brian."

Vanessa had seen through the shenanigans of the two, but there was nothing she could do.

"Forget it, the Bennet family's business has nothing to do with us, and who comes to see Brian has nothing to do with us either. I just need you to protect yourself from those people."

Anyway, her sister had given up, and she didn't support her sister being with Brian anyway, so these heartbreaking things didn't bother her.

"Yes, you are right. There's no point in wasting brain cells thinking about things that have nothing to do with us."

Winnie made sense. She looked quite open-minded, but she felt uncomfortable.

The discomfort wasn't because Rufus had left Wendy and Klara, but her own presence seemed superfluous and awkward at that moment.

It had to pass the park to the parking lot.

Wendy and Klara saw Winnie and her sister sitting there before they could reach the park.

Seeing Winnie, they could not calm down, failing to control their anger.

They glanced at each other heartily and walked towards Winnie.

"Isn't it too early to be happy?"

Wendy revealed her displeasure.

Her voice came somewhat unannounced, surprising Winnie.

Fortunately, it did not happen for the first time. Winnie froze for a moment before leaking out a subdued and calm eye.
