Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 905

When Daenerys hung up, only Winnie and Emily were left on the phone.

"Winwin, poor Winwin, I can't come to see you. You must get well and come to see me soon."

Emily was anxious but helpless. Winnie's concern was right she could not be infected at this time, it would affect the fetus' development.

Winnie still couldn't speak, but revealed a pleased smile after hearing that Emily wasn't coming. She nodded her head in response to Emily, and then waved her hand and Emily goodbye.

The video chat ended, and Oscar went back to Penny's ward.

After Brian called for the nurse to change the medicine, he told Winnie to lie down and rest, while he himself sat by the hospital bed.

"Do you know why I asked Oscar to come to my company?"

Brian remembered what had just happened.

Winnie shook her head inexplicably, wasn’t because he wanted to hire a talent?

"I believe in Oscar's ability is only part of the reason, I believe more in Oscar's character and serious attitude towards his work. He is a trustworthy person as he has a good sense of propriety and integrity. I want to hire him to stay by Jack's side, and he will be Jack's right hand after he takes over my position."

"There is still a shortage of people around Jack, I will slowly find him some talents with executive power and decision making power in the future ......"

Brian spoke to himself, but Winnie was unsettled after hearing that.

When Brian said he was going to give Jack his position, it proved that he had already made up his mind to give up the Bennet Group. He couldn't do that, he couldn't give up his future because of her.

Winnie was anxious, but she couldn't say anything, so she could only take her phone out and type to communicate with Brian.

"You can't do that."

Brian asked Winnie as he looked at the text on the phone handed to him.

"Why?"

Winnie started typing again.

"You can't give up so many employees because of me, your problems aren't your own, they're the problems of all the employees and all the shareholders. And your grandfather, don't keep him on his toes when he's that old."

So many people's expectations were possessed by Winnie alone, how could she bear it? Such a talented and capable person gave up a great future for her, she would be guilty.

But if Brian really gave up everything, did she believe that Brian was truly in love with her?

"Don't take it to heart, I'm not doing this for you. I've been working for so many years and it's time to take a break, besides I'm going to spend time with my kids."

Brian found a reason to put it off. He said that was because he didn't want Winnie to have a burden on her heart, but, he gave up The Bennet Group for Winnie.

Winnie was surprisingly lost when she heard Brian's explanation, it was her overthinking. Brian didn't have her in his reasons. In other words, his love for her was not there.

Winnie hated herself like this, obviously she wanted that answer, but she couldn't control her wild thoughts. She felt like she had gone crazy, no longer able to control her heart or dominate her brain.

Winnie typed to respond.

"Good to know it is not because of me."

"Don't you have Albert, your right-hand man? Why are you still helping Jack get his staff?"

Winnie continued to ask, feeling embarrassed if she didn't say something.

"I can't leave Albert behind, I still need them to take care of my own estate. If I leave them to Jack, I still won't be able to rest."

"I want to take some time off and take you and the kids out on a trip. Didn't you say you liked the snow in the north? I'll take you guys skiing when I get everything set up and when the kids are on winter break."

Brian was alone with his planning visions, imagining the happy picture of a family skiing and playing in the snow.

Winnie was not in the mood to think about any travel at this time, she was still worried if it was okay to give the Bennet Group to Jack.

Winnie showed the typed words to Brian again.

"Can Jack handle it? Can you keep your shareholders from being disappointed? Can you reassure your employees?"

"No problem, don't worry, trust me. I can't go wrong with the people I've cultivated. Besides, I have to create an indestructible team for him to stick to before I let go."

"He's not alone in his efforts, so many talents helping him will be fine."

Brian replied with confidence.

He believed that he would not be wrong about the people, he believed in the ability of the elite team he had prepared for Jack, and that working together they would not disappoint the shareholders or worry the employees.

"It's time for me to take a break, to spend time with the kids and the elderly. I can’t work all the time, or I will be sorry for the kids and my family."

It was time for Brian to give himself some time to spend with his children, to manage love, and to make up for the twenty years he had lost with his father.

"It's okay if you think about it, but you have nothing to feel guilty about me."

Winnie didn't want to be influencing Brian's life and didn't want to be involved in his future.

"Fine, as you wish."

"Don't think about it, get some sleep. I'll go check on Dad and the nurse will keep an eye on your infusion."
