Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 146

Chapter 146 The Presence Of Hall Family
Louis and Emily pulled the ribbon so that the lid of the box lifted. As soon as they saw the ID cards with their faces printed on them, screams of joy echoed in the air. They jumped up and down and then ran around their parents.

“We have ID cards! We have ID cards! We are already like great businessmen!”

With light hearts, Frank and Kara took the twins to their adjoining rooms. When the doors opened, they were stunned. Their gray eyes twinkled like silver.

“Is those big computers for me? And that big whiteboard? Those machines too? All these equipments are mine?” Louis noticed everything that was arranged in his work room.

Meanwhile, Emily was still gaping without a word. Her eyes filled with tears as she scanned the walls filled with frames containing basic information about clothing and jewelry designs.

"We're really lucky, Louis," she sighed thinly. “I really like this work space.”

Frank and Kara felt emotional to see the twins' reactions. However, when they were about to respond, Jeremy suddenly cleared his throat with a reluctant look.

“Sorry, Sir. I have to inform you that Mr. and Mrs. Hall have come to visit you. The staff dared not refuse them.”

Frank's face suddenly hardened. He also had no choice but to accept his guest.

"Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Hall," Frank greeted politely.

Kara who was standing next to him also smiled. She nodded her head slightly.

Instead of responding to the greeting, the two guests entered the room and sat on the sofa. The man remained with his firm expression. His hands were clenched on his knees. Meanwhile, the woman couldn't stop glancing at Kara from the corner of her eye.

"I don't think we need to elaborate. You must have understood the purpose of our visit," Vincent Hall said in a low tone.

Frank took a deep breath. Sitting down slowly, he asked, "What would you like to drink? Coffee? Tea?"

"No need," Sara answered curtly. "We just need an explanation. How dare you break off your engagement with our daughter?"

Kara blinked tensely. However, Frank didn't seem bothered in the slightest. With a calm expression, he nodded slowly. "Actually, I had planned to meet you. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the right time had come. But since you're already here, let's just talk about it. I want to apologize."

Sara snorted in disgust. "You think sorry is enough to heal our hurt?"

"I realize I was wrong. I shouldn't have exposed Isabela's disgrace. But I'm sure you also realize that this was not a single mistake."

Vincent's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"

"We all know that Isabela and I do not love each other. Our relationship was purely based on profit."

"Really? You want to use love as an excuse? That woman beside you has poisoned your mind, huh?" Sara quipped.

While Kara turned stiff, Frank smiled. "Do you two love each other?"

The guests suddenly froze. They glanced at each other silently. The question was too far beyond expectations.

“I think your arranged marriage is the most successful business marriage in history. Both parties' companies are booming, but as the result ... sorry, your child had to growing up in an unhealthy environment.”

"You!" Sara was about to stand, but her husband held her back.

Seeing the little girl's teary eyes, Sara sighed in disbelief. What would the world say if she fought a toddler?

"Hey, Kids," Sara tried to control her tone, "this is adults’ business. You don't understand anything. Can you just play outside?"

Emily shook her head firmly. "No way. You definitely want to force Daddy to marry Isabela. If that happens, we will lose Daddy, and Mommy will suffer again."

"Yes! We don't want that to happen. Now, for the good name of your family, how about we just make peace? You stop pushing Daddy and we won't spread this video."

Hearing Louis' threat, Vincent let out a laugh. "You think it's that easy to reconcile? What about the losses we suffered? You guys are willing to compensate us?"

Louis' brows furrowed. The phone in his hand was a bit down. "What losses?"

"Our company's stock has fallen drastically. Many clients have withdrawn from our projects because they consider us incompetent. Your father has ruined the Hall family's reputation."

"This is really unfair," Emily grumbled with puffed cheeks. "Isabela was the one who was naughty, but why is Daddy taking the blame?"

"Emily is right. Usually, if we make a mistake, Mommy will advise us, not scold other people. Just like Brandon, our neighbor. He was scolded by his parents when he was naughty."

The little girl nodded quickly. "And his second girlfriend was scolded by her own parents, not by Brandon's parents. Why aren't you like that? Why are you scolding other people? Isn't each child the responsibility of each parent?"

Vincent and Sara were suddenly stunned. Their eyes widened, trembling a little faster.

"Did you just say that we failed to educate our daughter?" Sara concluded in a low voice.
