Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 309

S3| 52. Perfect Disguise

Ben opened the door and swung his hand inside. “Please come in, Mr. Harper.”

Jeremy stepped in accompanied by Ava. “Thank you.”

Ben’s eyes were now focused on Ava. “So, are you here to introduce your future wife? You came to deliver invitations?”

Jeremy raised an eyebrow, not smiling at all. “You’re interested in her?

Ben raised his hands. “I don’t dare mess with the Harper’s women anymore. I got enough lessons.”

Jeremy nodded. “Good.”

His response confused Ava. However, the girl did not change. expression. She just blinked, trying to read Jeremy’s movements.

“Is your offer still valid?”

Ben’s eyes widened. “You guys want to work with me?”

Jeremy nodded. “I can persuade the twins to become models for your product, but… I need your help. I didn’t choose the wrong partner, right?”

Ben spread his hands and sneered. “You can rely on me at any time.”

“Then, may I borrow your car?”

Ben’s expression turned confused. “What for?”

“Several people are following me. I need privacy.”

Ben’s mouth rounded. His index finger was straight. “Oh, I see. You

want to trick them?”

Jeremy nodded. “Can you lend me your car?”

“That’s easy. But, with clothes like that, even if you use my car, you will still be monitored. Need a different costume?” Ben glanced at Ava, raising an eyebrow in a charming way.

Ava blinked uncomfortably. She glanced at Jeremy. “The decision is yours,” she said flatly.

Jeremy considered it. “Ben is right. You can’t roam around freely in this outfit.”

A second later, he looked back at Ben. “Is there anything she can

wear?”

Ben raised the corner of his lips. “Please wait a moment.” He fiddled with his phone. After a while, a maid came bringing a wig and a very revealing red dress.

“I have to wear that?” Ava’s vocal cords were strangled.

“This is all that’s available. Do you want it or not, Miss?”

Ava glanced at Jeremy as if asking for help. However, the man. shrugged his shoulders lightly.

“Just put it on. It’ll be a perfect disguise.”

Ava could only grimace in resignation.

“Can you stop looking at me?” Ava pressed her arms together, not realizing that it only made her look even more seductive.

“What? I didn’t see you. I saw the rearview mirror,” Jeremy said, fixing his gaze forward.

While furrowing her eyebrows, Ava rubbed her arms. “I’m already quite annoyed because I failed to meet my mother. So, please don’t make

me feel uncomfortable.”

Jeremy let out a faint sigh. “You want me to drive with my eyes closed?”

Ava fell silent.

“Calm down. I’m not interested in you at all. You look more like a red chili than a seductive woman.”

Ava’s furrowed brows began to unravel. “Good then.”

Pursing her lips, she watched the path they were passing. “So, where are we going?”

Jeremy pointed to the hotel sign shining high in the distance. Before he could explain, Ava interrupted, “Are you kidding me?”

Jeremy sighed. “Can you stop suspecting or criticizing me?” His voice

made Ava shudder.

“I don’t want to drag Ben Wilson into this problem. So, we can’t possibly take his car home. We should order a taxi from there, then change taxis again. Later, I’ll think about how you can visit your mother. So you don’t need to think too much. Just focus on taking care of Mrs. Harris.”

Ava was stunned. A twinge of guilt rose in her heart. “Then what about your car?” Her voice dropped.

“I can ask the guards to pick it up tomorrow morning.”

Her contemplation deepened. “Sorry I have brought you many problems.”

Jeremy glanced thinly. He did not expect the statement to come. “I’m just running an errand. Frank asked me to look after you. The twins too.”

“Louis and Emily?”

“Are there another twins?” Jeremy grumbled faintly.

Ava pursed her mouth tightly. While leaning back, she reflected on her

life.

Oddly, Jeremy was disturbed by Ava’s silence. He glanced around, curious about what was on her mind. However, instead of asking, he stepped on the gas even deeper.

“I’m so glad our table is full. This is the best breakfast ever!” Emily exclaimed. Her smile was so wide and her eyes were beaming. Under the table, her legs swung happily.

“Yeah, I’m glad too.” Louis looked to the left

Diana chuckled at their cheerfulness. “I also think so. Breakfast has

never tasted this good. It doesn’t mean your cooking isn’t delicious, Abi. It’s just….”

Diana spread her arms, pointing at everyone around the dining table. ” Atmosphere does influence the taste of food.”

While the servants replaced the empty plates with smaller plates pudding, Susan took a deep breath. Her gaze was locked on Diana’s bright face.

“It’s hard to believe that after more than twenty years, Mrs. Johnson still looks the same.”

Diana burst out laughing. “Please don’t exaggerate it, Susan. Can’t you see my wrinkles? They’re getting tighter.”

“But Grandma Diana still looks beautiful,” Emily nodded deeply.

“And healthy. Grandma Diana is much older than Grandma Susan, but
