Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 346

S31 89. Patricia’s Rage

Horrified, the twins immediately leaned closer to their father. Frank reassured them with a brief smile.

“Mrs. Moore, we are sorry for the misfortune that befell your family. You need to know, we had no intention of bringing anyone down. All we did was defending ourselves. You were the ones who attacked us first in various ways. Your husband even intended to shot my son

earlier.”

“Don’t distort the facts!” Patricia pointed her finger at Frank. “You came here on purpose and created chaos. Then you accused my husband of nonsense even though you were the one who was at fault!

“Are you angry because we broke the tables and chairs here?” Louis spoke up. “Sorry. But we did it because we didn’t want to be thrown overboard.”

“Yes, Louis and I don’t want to be separated.”

“Shut up! I’ve had enough of your acting.”

Before Patricia cursed any longer, Frank straightened his hand. That’s enough, Mrs. Moore. I hope you can learn from the mistakes o your husband and daughter. If you kept blaming us, it’s not impossible that you will end up the same as your husband.”

Patricia gasped. Her roaring breath hitched.

“What do you mean? You’re accusing me of being involved in smuggling too?” Her voice dropped drastically.

Frank shook his head. “I don’t have any proof of that right now. So, I can’t make such accusations. It’s just that, if you continue to corner

my children, I could sue you for unpleasant conduct.

Patricia didn’t dare to speak any more. Her mouth shut, her gaze narrowed at the twins.

Seeing that Patricia was under control, a police officer approached. Excuse me, Mister Harper. We need information from you and your children. Are you willing to come with us?”

“Should we move to another ship?” Louis’ eyes widened. Victor’s words were still ringing in his mind, about how they would be sold and sent to another continent on another ship.

Emily was the same. Her eyebrows were knit tightly together. “We don’t mind providing information. We are actually happy to help the investigation. But, isn’t there another way to get back to land? Right now, Louis and I are more comfortable with taking a helicopter.”

Frank quickly stroked the twins’ heads. “Don’t worry, Kids. I have provided a helicopter for us.

The twins stroked their chests in unison. Meanwhile, Frank glanced at the officer. “You don’t mind if we go to the police station ourselve do you?”

“Absolutely not. We actually support that option. Your children’s comfort is also our priority.”

Frank nodded. After thanking him, he took the twins to the helipad.

Patricia didn’t move as they left. Even though her lips were pressed tightly, her gaze swept across the backs of the three people in turn.

“You think I will just keep quiet when you have oppressed my family?” she cursed in her heart. Taking a deep breath, she raised her chin.” Just wait and see. Retribution for you is on the way.”

Several hours passed, the twins stepped out of the police station with proud expressions, especially Louis. While swinging the hand he was holding, he hummed lightly.

“Today was a very exciting day. I didn’t expect Emily and I to be that cool.”

Emily giggled. Looking up at Frank, she asked, “Daddy, were we really cool just now? Not on the cruise ship, I mean, when answering the policeman’s questions.”

“Yeah, you guys are really, really cool. I don’t know how to express my pride in you anymore. I think it’s like soaring to the sky.”

“Woohoo! I can’t wait to go home and tell Mommy and the others about today’s adventure. They will all be amazed.” Louis gave a small jump.

“Daddy, how about we call Mommy while we’re on the road? I’m afraid Mommy is still worried. We only had time to let her know via message earlier. Mommy and little baby shouldn’t be stressed.”

Frank rubbed the tiny fingers in his right hand. “That’s a great id Let’s hurry to the car.”

“Let’s go!”

After a jog, they arrived at the limousine. The twins immediately sat down flanking Frank. Their heads drew closer to the phone as if it

were a magnet.

When Kara received the video call, the twins squealed, “Mommy!”

Philip, who was asleep due to the side effect of the medicine, spontaneously opened his eyes. However, seeing the two toddlers with Frank, he closed his eyes again.

“Mommy, what are you doing? You’re not worried about us anymore,

3/5

right? Louis and I are fine.”

“Earlier, we answered every question from the officer very coolly. They

kept praising us. They said this is the first time they have met

toddlers as brave as us.

Seeing those two round, enthusiastic faces, Kara folded her lips inwards. She put one hand on her chest, suppressing the emotion so that it wouldn’t spill into tears.

“You’re really cool, Little Bees. How are you doing now? You’re fine, right? Nobody’s hurt?”

The twins shook their heads together. “No, Mommy. We weren’t hurt at all. The only thing we lost was the hair on our wrists. The duct tape they used was too sticky!”

Kara laughed at Louis’ ugly face. “Did Emily cry when her hair was pulled out?”

Emily shook her head proudly. “No, Mommy. I didn’t cry at all. I’m not a crybaby anymore. I only had tears in my eyes when Victor said he was going to sell us. I just want to be Mommy and Daddy’s child.”

Kara rubbed the edges of her eyes. Her tears had reached its li So now, you guys are on the way home, right?”

“Yeah! See you at home, Mommy. We can’t wait to hug you.”
