S31 138. Bad Kids!

“Mom, are you ready to start?” Ava asked while giving her mother a

massage.

Instead of answering, Mrs. Connor glanced at the door. “Where are the others? Don’t Eva and the twins want to accompany me to

therapy?”

At that moment, Bryan came in smiling. “Eva is playing the water gun with Louis and Emily.”

Ava widened her eyes. “Eva wants to play with them? And get wet?”

“Yeah. They’re chasing each other in the side yard.”

While Ava blinked in disbelief, Mrs. Connor said, “I want to watch them play. Can we hold off on therapy until they’re finished?”

Ava blinked. “Of course.” She herself was also curious about h the twins could persuade Eva to play with them.

In the yard, Eva had been completely wet. She couldn’t possib against two toddlers at once.

“You guys! Stop running!”

The twins didn’t listen. Unlike the sullen girl, they got more cheerf Their running grew faster and their laughter grew louder.

“Louis, help! The enemy is chasing me!”

“Don’t worry, Emily. I’ll help you!” Louis aimed at Eva’s back. But apparently, no water came out.

“Oh, no! I’m out of ammo. Hang in there, Emily. I’ll use the spare ball.”

Louis ran towards the basket hidden around the bushes. With his tiny

“Louis…!”

Emily took the track around, running towards help. Eva behind her chased with a furious face. She occasionally tried to shoot Emily but

failed.

“Louis, help!” Emily got closer.

Louis took a stance. When the enemy was at the right distance, he threw a white balloon at her.

“Take this, Eva!”

“Hmmph!”

Instantly, Eva stopped running and closed her eyes. Flour had been scattered all over the air like dust. Most of it was stuck to her hair and shoulders.

Before she had time to react, a red balloon launched. It hit her stomach. Slimy rotten tomatoes instantly burst out!

“You guys ….” Eva’s body was shaking. Her teeth clashed and he eyes glowed red. “You dare ruin my dress?”

“Mommy said we shouldn’t waste food, so I only prepared one bal

flour.”

“It’s a rotten tomato!” Eva groaned with tears almost spilling.

“Oh, for that one, I found it when Mrs. Black was sorting tomatoes yesterday. Instead of throwing them away, it’s better to make them into a weapon.” Louis put his hands on his hips and nodded proudly.

“Don’t worry, Eva. Your dress will be clean again after we wash it. If you want the stain disappear quickly, come here. I’ll help you.”

While laughing, Emily threw a yellow balloon. Eva didn’t react at all

“You guys have gone too far!”

With her hand gripping the water gun tightly, she stepped forward. The twins ran again. Because Louis was too fast, Eva targeted Emily.

“Louis! She’s chasing me again!” Emily exclaimed between laughs.

“Hang in there, Emily. I’ll get another spare ball.”

Suddenly, the gun in Eva’s hand flew towards Emily. When the object hit her head, Emily immediately groaned and lost her balance.

Everyone’s eyes widened when they saw the little girl fall like a crocodile. Louis gaped wide, Ava gasped, while Mrs. Connor sighed in

disbelief.

“What’s wrong with Eva? Why is she so rude to the kids?” the woman in the wheelchair sighed, disappointed.

But apparently, Eva hadn’t stopped there. She grabbed Emily forcing her back to her feet. She didn’t care if the little girl rel and screamed. Then, clenching her mouth tightly, Eva took the remaining tomato stain on her dress and stuffed it into Emily’s

“Take this, Naughty Kid! You deserve it. This is the consequenc you dare mess with me!”

Emily burst into tears. She tried to fight, but Eva gripped her too tightly. She was only able to escape when the guards rescued her.

“Eva, you are so mean! We only attack at your body, but you hit Emily in the face!” Louis exclaimed before patting Emily’s back, who was being calmed down by the guards.

“That’s the consequence if you dare disturb me. I’ve reminded you several times, but you didn’t listen!”

While Louis was looking at Eva with a cynical look, Ava ran over. Louis, is Emily okay?”

“No. Emily always cries every time she falls. And she really doesn’t like it when her face is dirty. Eva smeared rotten tomatoes on her cheeks.”

“Where did I get those rotten tomatoes from, hmm? From you!” After furrowing her eyebrows at Louis, Eva turned to Ava.

“And you … don’t try to blame me for this incident. I know it was all your idea. You were the one who called them here to harass me.. You’re not happy that I’m staying here, right?”

Ava shook her head in disbelief. “Even if it’s true, is that a good reason for you to hurt a child? Emily is only four. Don’t you feel sorry for her?”

Eva snorted. “Then what? There’s no one in this world who pities me. They bully me. If not me, who else can defend myself?”

“You’re pathetic, Eva,” Ava said in a tone of anger mixed with second later, she turned around and bent her knees in front of

“Hi, Emily. I saw you fall earlier. Does anything hurt?” Ava took of girl’s glasses then wiped her tears. Before she had time to clean tomato stain, Emily stretched out her arms and hugged her neck.

“Ava…. Eva smeared rotten tomatoes on my face. Will my skin be damaged? Am I not beautiful anymore after this?”

While patting the trembling little back, Ava shook her head. “No, tomatoes are actually good for the skin. Have you ever heard of a tomato mask? That’s because tomatoes are rich in vitamin B.”

“Even if it’s a rotten tomato?”

While Emily was sobbing, Ava checked her face. Her eyes narrowed
