S31 160. Moaning
“Philip!”
Barbara patted her husband’s shoulder. Philip immediately held back
his movements.
“Yes?”
“Didn’t you see? I raised my hand a long time ago!” Barbara scolded in between her tight breaths.
“Does it hurt?”
“No, but you did it too fast!” Barbara lay her head down and wiped the sweat from her forehead.
“It’s already slow, Babe.”
“Slower!”
While holding back the intense turmoil within him, Philip tried to obey his wife’s wishes.
“Yes, like that!”
“I haven’t even moved, Babe,” he sighed, full of patience.
“Not yet? But I can feel it moving. Wait!”
Philip froze again. “What?”
Barbara closed her eyes and furrowed her brows. “I’m starting to feel sore.”
“You want to stop?”
“No. Try pushing a little. A little bit more. Stop! Push again.”
“It’s already stuck, Baby.”

Barbara raised her head slightly. Her eyes widened. “Already? Is that
the maximum limit?”
“Where do you think it’ll end up?” Philip asked, half groaning. He began to have difficulty holding back his instinctive urges.
“Up to my stomach? I can already imagine my intestines being
pushed.” After a few quick blinks, Barbara smiled in relief. “Good, Phil.
You did well.”
“Then, can I continue?
Barbara nodded. “Yeah, I now understand-
She failed to finish her sentence. A strange sensation had spread from below to her entire body. Before she had time to respond, Philip
had covered her mouth.
Unfortunately, as they started to enjoy, the phone rang on the table. Barbara spontaneously turned her head and frowned.
“Who calls at this time?”
“Ignore it.
Philip pressed his lips together again, but Barbara avoided. “What if it’s important? Can you reach it, Phil? You can continue with your
work then.”
Without thinking, Philip grabbed it. Barbara answered the call, “What’s wrong, Kara?
“Hello, Auntie? This is Louis, not Mommy.”
Barbara stared wide eyed. “Louis, haven’t you slept yet?” She didn’t realize that her voice was half a sigh.
“Emily and I couldn’t sleep. We were worried about you. We heard that you were scared earlier. Are you okay?”

Barbara blinked while covering her mouth with the back of her hand. Yeah.”
“Has Uncle finished planting the baby in your stomach?”
Barbara more astonished. “Who told you guys that?”

“We asked many people how Mommy got pregnant. We always got different answers. But we think Mommy and Doctor Wela’s answers were the most similar.”
“Louis and I concluded that Mommy got pregnant because Daddy implanted the baby into her stomach. But we don’t know how the process works? Is it through the navel?”
Barbara shook her head faintly. She could imagine Emily pointing at her own navel through her pajamas. “No.”
“Did your stomach cut open? But isn’t that dangerous? Or did you swallow it? Then the baby grew in your stomach?”
Barbara let out a gasp of laughter. “When you grow up, you will know the process.”
“Does it hurt, Auntie?”
Barbara frowned. She glanced at Philip. The man was focused on playing under her chin while maintaining the rhythm.
“Yeah, this hurts a little.”
“This…? Is Uncle Philip implanting a baby now?” Emily’s voice was shrill. “Can we take a look? How about we switch to a video call?”
“No!” Barbara panicked. “I told you, this is an adult thing, Emily. You’re
still kids.”
“Yeah, yeah. Emily and I understand. Kids shouldn’t interfere in adult matters. We have to be patient for the next few years,” Louis

grumbled, making Barbara chuckle again.
‘Now that you know that I’m fine, why don’t you go to sleep? It’s getting late. Aren’t you tired?”
Louis grumbled again, “I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep because I’m curious. How do women get pregnant? Are babies implanted through
the buttocks?”
“I don’t think that’s possible, Louis. The baby will get dirty and smelly if it’s implanted through the buttocks. I told you, the most sensible thing is through the navel. That’s why babies are connected to their
mothers via the umbilical cord.”
As the twins continued to argue, Barbara listened while occasionally closing her eyes. Her hands had difficult times to stop the moans. When her focus could no longer be shared, she finally cut the talk..
“Louis, Emily, there’s no point discussing it now. Ask your parents tomorrow morning.”
“We’ve already asked, Auntie. Mommy was confused. Mommy said we weren’t old enough to understand that. I still wonder why Mommy said it while in fact, we’re geniuses.” Emily’s voice sounded sweet even though she seemed sleepy.
“Yes, Doctor Wela too. Emily, how about we just look for the answ
on the internet?”
“Instead of you finding out about that, you’d better learn things that are appropriate for your age. How to look after baby, for example. You’ll soon have lots of younger sibling and cousin, right? Now, let me and Philip finish our business, hmm?”
“Okay,” Louis resigned. “We won’t bother you anymore. Good night, Auntie. See you tomorrow morning.”
“Auntie, I think you should take a rest too. Don’t push yourself too

much. We want to have a younger cousin quickly, but your health is more important. You’re already tired
Barbara widened her eyes at Emily’s message. She thought the sound of her breathing was perfectly stifled, apparently not?
Without further ado, Barbara hung up the phone. Philip observed her strange expression.
“What is it, Babe?” His voice was thin.
“Emily said I was tired. I had closed my mouth tightly. How could she know? Did she hear your voice? Were you breathing?”
Philip returned her phone to the table with amusement. “Of course I were breathing. Don’t worry. It’s not a big deal. Now just focus on us.”
“You’re saying I don’t have to do anything?”
Philip stroked Barbara. “Yes. I can’t take my little soldiers out if you don’t pay attention to me. You just look at me, Babe. Don’t look away from me.”
