Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 423

S31 166. A Unique Wedding

“Wow! These sparklers are really long!” Emily studied the wands in her hands with sparkling eyes.

“You’re right. Even magic wands aren’t this long.” Louis drew his

fireworks into the air, as a knight would use his sword.

At that moment, a wedding organizer staff approached them. “Okay, please pay attention.”

The twins turned around with round eyes.

“Later, when the wedding music is played, our team will light your sparklers. After that, you walk slowly towards the groom. These fireworks can last for three minutes, so you don’t need to rush.”

The twins nodded. “Okay.”

“Please remember that these fireworks are hot and dangerous. You

must not touch the tips and do not point them at other people. You only need to twist them a little, like this.”

Hearing that explanation, Louis’ lips pursed. “We understand, Sir. We once read about fireworks. They are usually made of metal wire

coated with a mixture of potassium perchlorate, titanium or aluminum, and dextrin. The color depends on the metal added. temperature can reach over 1000 degrees Celsius when burning couldn’t possibly dare do anything wrong.”

The WO staff blinked for a moment. “It’s good that you understan When you get to the other end, hand over the fireworks to the staff on guard. Remember, hand them over carefully. After that, you can give the ring to your uncle.”

The twins nodded firmly. “Okay!”

“Now get ready. We’ll start in a minute.”

“Yes!”

The twins turned around. The aisle in front of them was bordered with yellow lights. At first glance, it looked like a row of fireflies sitting on the grass-so pretty and heartwarming.

At the end of the aisle, two trees curved and met in the middle. It looked like a romantic gate with the lights on the branches and twigs. Under it, Jeremy stood proudly. He wore a brownish pink suit that matched with the colors of the lights and leaves around him.

The twins also wore matching clothes. They looked adorable in their little dress and suit.

“I like weddings at night. There’s no glare from the sun and we don’t need to wear sunglasses.” Emily put her thumb and forefinger in front of her eyes.

“Yeah, me too. The air is cooler and the sky,” Louis looked up, “there are many stars there.”

Emily also looked up. Amazement escaped her mouth. “Wow…. Tonight is really beautiful.”

Suddenly, wedding music played softly. Two staff members

approached. The twins quickly straightened the fireworks in both their hands. As soon as the sparklers lighted up, they walked gracef while smiling.

“Oh, this is so cool. I feel like I want to run.”

“Hold on, Louis. Remember what the staff said. We have to walk slowly.”

On the right and left sides of the aisle, people watched them with various smiles. Some people whispered admiring their cuteness,

some commented on their heart-tugging way of walking.

“Look, soon they will collide,” Philip whispered in Barbara’s ear.”

See… I was right. They can never walk straight when given a task, even if it’s just holding the fireworks”

Barbara chuckled. “Maybe they can’t divide their focus well. Their hands and feet movements are out of sync.”

“It means that Louis and Emily have a great sense of responsibility. Even though they often bump into each other, they are still on the right track.”

Philip and Barbara spontaneously turned to the side. Frank was

raising his eyebrows while Kara nodded, confirming her husband’s

words.

“Relax, Brother. We’re not criticizing, just commenting.” Barbara patted Frank’s arm.

“When you have children, you will know how difficult it is to remain silent when other people commented on them.”

Barbara sighed in disbelief. “Are you pregnant like your wife? Why are you being so sensitive?”

“That’s because we’re on the same page, Barbara. Frank feels what I

feel.” Kara stroked her husband’s chest.

At that time, Ava appeared with Mrs. Connor. Kara turned around the entrance. In an instant, her eyes filled with tears.

Mrs. Connor was walking beside Ava. Her steps were a bit lame, bu her smile showed how tough she was.

“Didn’t Ava say she would walk alone?” Barbara sighed, tearing up too.

Kara shook her head faintly. “Perhaps Mrs. Connor insisted on accompanying her. After all, she is her mother.”

Not only the audience, Ava’s eyes were also filled with emotion. The small curve of her lips held many feelings.

“Mom, are you still strong?” she whispered as they passed halfway. Her hand kept to support her mother’s elbow.

“Don’t worry. Your mother is a tough woman. I once survived a fatal accident. Walking like this is not a problem for me. Moreover,” Mrs. Connor turned with a wry smile, “this is my daughter’s wedding. Of course I have to accompany her walking, handing her hand to the man of her choice.”

Ava folded her lips inward. Her throat felt hot, pressed by pressure from deep in her chest.

“I’m very happy that you could accompany me to walk here.”

“I am even happier.”

Filling her lungs with air of happiness, Ava straightened her head. Her steps were bolder and steadier. At the end of the aisle, Jeremy was waiting for her with his characteristic little smile.

“Good evening, Mrs. Connor.” Jeremy nodded respectfully.

Mrs. Connor smiled shyly. “I owe you an apology, Jeremy. I’m sorry I underestimated the relationship between the two of you.”

Jeremy placed his hand on his chest then bowed slightly. “It’s not problem, Ma’am. Life is unpredictable.”

Smiling faintly, Mrs. Connor put Jeremy and Ava’s hands together. Take care of my daughter with all your soul.”

“I will.”

After a short hug with Ava, Mrs. Connor was taken by Bryan to her chair. It was then did the sound of someone blowing his nose spread.
