His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 605

His heart raced, and his legs felt like jelly, as if he was teetering on the brink of life and death.

"What are you doing with that knife?" He stammered, hoping the alleged affair wasn't a done deal and no drastic action was necessary. "I mean... surely this isn't a life-or-death situation, right?"

Eliza didn't even glance up, her wrist flicked effortlessly, the blade slicing a chilling path through the air. "Casper, you've dirtied your hands, and I'm here to clean up the mess."

The blade gleamed ominously.

She paused, exhaling slowly before turning her head, a cryptic smile playing on her lips.

Casper's face turned ghostly pale, his legs refusing to cooperate.

"Sweetheart, don't do this. I can look into it, I promise I'll get to the bottom of it. No need for any drastic measures, really, it's not what it seems."

He backed away, fear gripping him.

One wrong move, and he felt he might end up in a very bad place.

Eliza emerged from the bathroom, knife in hand.

The cold gleamed with menace.

Each step she took, Casper matched with a step back. Eventually, he was cornered, collapsing onto the soft bed, yielding to her grip on his collar.

"Is that right?" Her voice was icy, sending shivers down his spine.

"I just need a little time to figure this out, can you give me three days?"

His Adam's apple bobbed nervously.

The knife's cold tip traced a line from his cheek, down to his throat, slowly moving over each tense muscle, along the ridges of his abs, finally resting at the spot.
