After breakfast, Avery initially had planned to visit Mrs. Raven. The information that she had gotten stated that Mrs. Raven resigned from the hospital a few years ago and had stopped working ever since.
Just when she was about to head out, her phone rang.
"Eric," Avery picked up the call. "What happened to your blind date?"
"Are you free right now? I want to meet you and talk to you."
Avery looked at the time. Even if she was going to visit Mrs. Raven, it was still too early at that moment.
"Okay! Have you had your breakfast?"
"I drank some coffee. I'm already full." "Don't drink coffee on an empty stomach next time. Your stomach might not be able to take it. Let's meet outside. I'll treat you to breakfast," Avery said.
"Okay."
Half an hour later, they met at a cafe. After ordering their food, the waiter left.
Eric took his mask off. He picked up his cup of water and drank a huge gulp of water.
"Eric, you seem unhappy." Avery looked at him. "Have you met your blind date already?"
"Hmm. This person is a man. No. He is suddenly a man and suddenly a woman. I'm not even sure as to whether the person is male or female anymore."
Eric complained to Avery. "I asked to meet the person tomorrow. My mother was the one who forced me into it, but I regret it now. I don’t want to see that person. I still want to get Fred to go on my behalf."
