"You don't get paid that much. It's barely enough to cover your debt. What about your university tuition fees?" Sam desperately wanted to help her. "Are you refusing my help because Lucas has already helped with your debt?"

"Did Lucas say something bad about me and tell you to stay away from me, then?" Sam continued.

She shook her head again. "Mr. Sam, Mr. Lucas isn't that talkative. He rarely talks to me or speaks ill of others in front of me."

"You might be young, but you sure are cautious," Sam commented.
