His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 2861

"Hahaha! Elliot Foster's son-in-law, huh? You sound so confident after getting the marriage certificate," Mike teased. "You just need to focus on making Layla happy."

"I know," Eric said and turned to look at Ivy. "Ivy, I talked to your sister last night, and we figured that you can be the host if you don't want to be a bridesmaid. That's what you are studying in university, anyway. We will entrust you with hosting the wedding. What do you think?"

Ivy felt as though everyone was overestimating her and flushed when she felt their eyes on her. "I... I'm worried that I might let you down..."

She had not expected Layla and Eric to trust her with such an important task and was worried that she was not qualified enough for the task.

"What are you worried about? Your sister and brother-in-law aren't worried, so just think of it as having fun." Mike thought that it was a great idea as a wedding was supposed to be interesting. "It's not a TV show, so you can make mistakes. Just read directly from the script if you are worried about forgetting the words!" He encouraged her.

"I will think about it," Ivy said.

"There's no need to consider. If you are too nervous to host alone, we can get you a partner." Mike could tell that Ivy was keen to try being the host. After all, she must have a passion for hosting, or she would have never gone through the trouble of working the night shifts for an internship at a television station.

Ivy's heart raced and she turned to look at Hayden. "Hayden, do you really think that this will work?"

"Of course. It's your sister's wedding, and you can be the bridesmaid or the host," Hayden said endearingly.

"Hahaha! Once you get the experience from hosting your sister's wedding, you can do the same for your two brothers' weddings in the future," Mike said and the smile on Hayden's face instantly vanished.

Ivy glanced at Hayden and suppressed her laughter.

In the evening, Layla went to Elliot's mansion with Eric after work.
