His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 2976

Shelly accepted the gift with a smile. "Ivy, there's no need for formality. I appreciate whatever you give me. Next time you come, you don't have to buy me a gift."

"Shelly, it's just a small gift, not very valuable." Ivy chuckled. "I don't have classes this afternoon, so I came here to see you. I hope I'm not disturbing your work."

"Of course not. I've hired a few more employees in my shop now, so I'm not as busy as before," Shelly replied. "Your older brother's company is near our dessert shop. Would you like to go and see him later?"

"I see him every evening, so I won't go out of my way to see him," Ivy said, not wanting to disturb her brother at work. "Shelly, you met my brother last Saturday, right? What did you think of him?"

Ivy was acting as her family's representative, and she was here to talk to Shelly. Their hopes were riding on Shelly's response, as they needed to understand how Shelly saw Hayden.

"He's very nice!" Shelly replied without hesitation. "Your whole family is wonderful. With all of you taking care of Aiden, I feel really reassured."

Ivy nodded. "Taking care of Aiden is our responsibility. Shelly, are you currently in a romantic relationship?"

"No!" Shelly felt increasingly flustered by Ivy's questions. "Ivy, what are you trying to say?"

"Don't be afraid, Shelly. We want to know if you like my brother. We really hope you can be together with him, but we're also afraid that you don't like him. We don't want to force you into anything you don't want," Ivy explained.

Shelly's face reddened instantly. "Ivy, do you really think your brother would like an ordinary girl like me?"

It was a question she would never ask Layla or Avery, but she felt that Ivy, who had experienced hardship since childhood, might understand her feelings better.

"Of course, it's possible. You're a wonderful woman. You may not come from a wealthy background, but that's not something you can control. My parents don't value that sort of thing, and I don't think my brother cares either," Ivy said with a smile. "Shelly, I think you might have some feelings for my brother, am I right? Don't worry, I won't tell him."

Shelly felt a bit embarrassed but remained level-headed. Although Hayden's family liked her, it ultimately depended on Hayden's feelings toward her.
