His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 3122

Caspian was quick to respond, "She's Lucas' assistant."

"Oh! An assistant making decisions for the boss? Mr. Woods must really dote on his employees," Ms. Feake said.

Caspian burst into laughter. "It's not quite like that. They knew each other before she began working here, so their relationship doesn't follow the typical boss-employee dynamic."

Ms. Feake chuckled. "I see! Mr. Woods, we're not particularly interested in your privacy. We asked you to fill out this form because we want to understand you better. After all, we haven't had any prior contact. As long as you answer these questions truthfully, and there aren't any major issues, we can proceed with the transference of the investment funds."

Caspian found her request quite reasonable and continued trying to persuade Lucas. "Why don't I fill it out for you? I know you quite well."

Ms. Feake interjected, "Sorry, that won't work! Each question needs to be answered by Mr. Woods himself for accuracy. My father places great importance on a person's integrity. If Mr. Woods is willing to truthfully answer the questions, my father will willingly transfer the funds to you."

Caspian patted Lucas on the shoulder. "Lucas, it's your call! I do feel that Ms. Feake is quite sincere."

With a light laugh, Ms. Feake said, "Of course. I'm here with the sincere wish for us to become partners. I wouldn't have come in person otherwise. Mr. Woods, take your time to consider this matter. I'll be around for a while. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me."

Lucas nodded. "All right."

Ms. Feake produced a business card and handed it to Lucas. "Mr. Woods, here's my business card."

Lucas accepted the card, and Ms. Feake stood from her seat. "How about we have lunch together later? I'm not very familiar with this area, and it would be even better if Mr. Woods could accompany me on a stroll!"

"I'm sorry, but I'm busy. If you need company, Caspian can go with you," Lucas said.

Caspian grinned. "Ms. Feake, I can be your tour guide, if you don't mind."

Ms. Feake's smile remained radiant, unblemished by even a trace of displeasure. "Well, could we at least have lunch together?"
