Chapter 10
At 5 o’clock in the afternoon, the rain finally stopped after a whole day.
Satisfied Donte opened the car door and waved his hand outside, gesturing for Phoebe, who was still fastening her seatbelt, to get out.
She pouted her lips, glared at him, and leaned down to kiss him.
Looking at the time on the car’s screen, Donte turned his head away from her, his tone lazy.
“Stop.”
“Brother, I was just…”
Donte interrupted her, his tone carrying an authoritative air that brooked no offense.
“From the beginning, I had told you that we were just playing a two–month game. Now the time is up, and it’s time for you to exit.”
Seeing his indifferent look, Phoebe could only reluctantly get out of the car.
Donte opened the car window and stepped on the accelerator.
The surging desire in the carriage was blown away by the wind, and he looked at the gradually shortening distance on the navigation, revealing a faint smile.
After the car parked in the Frorel Hotel garage, he did not go to the main hall but went straight upstairs.
After playing around in the afternoon, their clothes were all wrinkled, so he needed to take care of
them.
Before entering the bathroom, he made a few phone calls to his brothers and gave them some
instructions.
The people across from us burst into laughter simultaneously.
“Donte, you can rest assured. Maeve promised us this morning that she would come over, and we are already on our way to pick her up.”
“Yeah, you should think about how to perform later, the difficulty is not small.”
“It has been two months since they started performing, and there hasn’t been any flaw. What are you afraid of? Maeve has a deep affection for Donte, she definitely won’t suspect anything.”
Donte couldn’t be bothered to listen to their banter, so he laughed and cursed at them for a few
moments before casually tossing his phone onto the couch.

Half an hour later, he came out with his hair wiped and heard the continuous ringing of his phone.
As soon as he turned on the screen, he saw over twenty missed calls, and his heart rate suddenly increased.
After forcibly suppressing the panic emotions, he pressed the answer button.
“What happened that you made so many phone calls?”
“Donte, we knocked on the door outside the villa for over ten minutes, but Maeve didn’t come out.
She didn’t respond to our messages and her phone was also switched off. What should we do?”
Can’t reach you?
Donte furrowed his brow, and his good mood was completely ruined.
“Maybe she fell asleep. You guys go to my house and get the spare key from Auntie. Go in and take a
look, but be careful not to scare her.”
The brothers agreed to come.
Donte pressed his temples as he changed into clean clothes, recalling the evening’s events in his
mind.
After fastening his tie, he picked up his belongings and walked downstairs.
The hotel manager saw him and hurriedly greeted him warmly.
“Mr. Leblanc, take a look at the arrangement on site. Is there anything you’re not satisfied with? We
will make adjustments immediately.”
Donte glanced roughly and nodded in satisfaction.
“Not bad, you perfectly recreated the scene of the proposal. Your memory is pretty good.”
The hotel manager smiled even more obsequiously as he received recognition.
“Mr. Leblanc, as long as you are satisfied, it’s all good. Actually, I have to thank your fiancée for being able to restore everything exactly as it was. A few days ago, there were a few ornaments whose positions I couldn’t remember, so I had to call her in to finalize it.”
