Xavier's POV
She is gone.
I couldn't believe it. But the pain says otherwise. Not only did I feel the pain, so did the entire Kingdom as I heard howls of pain. The kingdom felt the pain of their Luna Queen's death.
I fall to the ground on my knees. This can't be happening. This shouldn't have happened. This is all my fault.
"We got their location." I heard Thomas voice. I quickly stood up and grabbed him by his collar. "Where are they?" I demanded. He hurriedly gave me the location.
"Nathan, gear up. We have witches to kill." I snarled. We quickly gathered people and went to the location. To our surprise they were still there.
We barged into the building. There they were sitting around a table in a circle. The moment I saw the witch that tortured my mate, I grabbed her by the neck.
"Where is she!" I yelled at her. She turned her head and pointed towards some ashes. I look at it bewildered. "Turn into ashes." she said smirking.
"I am going to rip you into pieces bitch." I snarled out. All the others had already killed the other witches and is watching us. Nathan had went in front of the ashes and kneeled down crying at it.
"Go ahead. I don't care anymore. I had my revenge. Her last thoughts was that you killed her." she said with no fear. I couldn't control my wolf anymore. He had shifted.
We circled the witch, our prey. Before anyone can blink, we pounced on her ripping her into pieces. We ripped her until there was barely anything left of her.
We stood there glaring at what was left of her in front of me. My wolf gave me back control as I shifted back. One of the warrior gave me a shorts as I slipped into it.
I rushed to where Nathan. "No. This can't be happening." I whispered. "She is gone. My baby sister is gone." Nathan said crying.
She is really gone. Not even her body was here for me to hug and cry. I cannot take this pain. I just cannot. Everyone in that room was crying.
I let out the most ferocious growl ever. I want her back. I need her back. Moon goddess please give her back to me. I prayed. But nothing happened. She was gone.
Nathan grabbed her ashes and put it in a jar there. "We have to go." Nathan said pulling me. But I stayed rooted to the ground. I couldn't care.
He continued to pull me up but, I didn't move an inch. He eventually gave up and went. I stayed there not uttering or moving.
"I am so sorry." I said hoping she could hear me. "I am so sorry little one. I shouldn't have pushed you away. I am so sorry for those hurtful words." I cried.
"I didn't mean any of it." I paused. "Truth be told, I was scared. I was scared of letting you in. But you crushed my walls with no effort and that scared me a lot."
"I love you, little one." I whispered in realisation. My eyes went wide with the words that came out. "I love her." I said again unbelievingly.
"What have I done!" I yelled. If only I had accepted my feelings for her and not told her those harsh words, she wouldn't have ran of into the woods. She wouldn't have been kidnapped.
She'd still be alive. This is all my fault. Even my wolf was blaming me. And he was right. Our mate was gone because of my selfishness.
