Chapter 74 

Lauren walked toward the gate of the villa, and as soon as she walked into the door, a maid rushed out from inside. Lauren had no time to dodge her and was hit hard. She looked up saw disgust in the maid’s eyes. 

Lauren was a little surprised. She knew this maid but was not sure about her name. Everyone called her Larry, who had been 

serving the Bennett family for a long time. She accompanied Aunt Clara and Sally when they were little so everyone in the Bennett 

showed respect to Larry: 

Larry no longer worked but she was still allowed to stay in the Bennett family. After Lauren returned to the Bennett family, she only met Larry a few times and they seldom talked. 

Larry ignored Lauren and hurriedly ran to the phone, saying, “Drive a car here! Erica was in danger! Be quick!” Sally took a few steps forward and asked, “What’s wrong with Erica?” 

Larry held Sally’s hand with tears falling down her face. Her lips even trembled, “She, she committed suicide by taking a lot of 

pills!” 

“What?” Sally was shocked. She didn’t have much contact with Erica, and just had a brief chat with her this afternoon. She thought Erica was a gentle and soft girl and was also very considerate to other people’s feelings. Why did she commit suicide? 

Hearing this, Larry took a glance at Lauren with angry eyes, and said in a gloomy voice, “There is no other reason. She shouldn’t come back to this family.” Even Larry glared at Lauren and even if she didn’t say her name, they all knew she was talking about and 

blaming Lauren. 

Sally was a little confused. Why did this have to do with Lauren? She just come back. Then Larry said, “After Erica knew that Lauren was back, she thought someone could take care of Clara. She didn’t want Lauren and Clara to be embarrassed. You know, she is a sensitive girl. So she took pills to commit suicide.”
