His Unveiled Passion novel Chapter 449

Bruno collapsed to the ground, his knees hitting the floor hard.

The floor was slick, and as he fell, his forehead struck the ground with a loud thud, landing right at Tessa's feet.

Wynn stood over him, her gaze sharp and unflinching, cold as steel.

She had only stepped away for a few minutes to use the restroom. How had someone already dared to cause trouble for Tessa in such a short time?

"Do you want me to break his legs or end it here?" Wynn asked calmly, turning to Tessa as if discussing the weather.

Tessa let out a sigh. "Stay calm. We live in a law-abiding society. It's broad daylight, so let's handle this properly. Call the police."

The slap she had given Bruno was entirely justified.

From the moment she walked into the store, the man and his girlfriend had been provoking her relentlessly.

Tessa had been willing to ignore them and keep the peace, but they refused to let it go. Instead, they followed her out, escalating things until they crossed the line by insulting her dignity.

Their behavior was clear harassment. Her response had been nothing more than self-defense.

When Bruno tried to retaliate, Wynn stepped in. That, too, fell under self-defense.

Tessa was not worried in the slightest. The store's surveillance cameras had captured everything, and the sales associates had witnessed the entire exchange. Even if the police arrived, she knew she was on solid ground.

Bruno struggled to his feet, cursing loudly as he continued to spew one vulgar insult after another.

By then, a small crowd had gathered nearby, drawn by the commotion.

With an ice-cold expression, Wynn took out her phone and called the police, just as Tessa had instructed.

The response was swift. Within ten minutes, officers arrived at the scene.

With statements from the sales associates and clear footage from the security cameras, the situation was quickly confirmed. Bruno was charged with public disturbance and taken into custody for administrative detention.

Although Cassidy had not laid a hand on anyone, she had fueled the conflict with her aggressive insults. The officers brought her in for questioning as well.
