Honey, I'll Make You a Star (Margaret and Charleston) novel Chapter 51

Chapter 51 Brooch Auction

Emilia raised the corners of her lips and said, "Mr. Limbaugh has already shown enough kindness by letting you eat. How dare you have ideas about sitting next to him?"

Then, she stood in front of the sofa on the right. She looked at Charleston and asked, "Mr. Limbaugh, can I sit here?"

"Yes." Charleston nodded.

"Thank you, Mr. Limbaugh." Emilia smiled blissfully.

Margaret could feel the flames burning in the pit of her stomach as she watched.

"You don't want to eat anymore?" Charleston had been paying attention to Margaret all this while.

Margaret said grumpily, "Didn't you tell me not to sit? I don't want to eat anymore!"

"Who said I didn't let you sit?"

"Then where should I sit?" All the seats were occupied.

All of a sudden, Charleston placed his hands on Margaret's waist and sat her down. "On my leg!" He said.

The room went quiet.

With Charleston's hands around her waist, Margaret could not move freely as she continued sitting on his lap.

Discomfort crept into Margaret's skin. She could barely hold it still any longer.

Charleston snorted and said suggestively, "Don't move. Otherwise, I'm afraid that I won't be able to control myself here..."

"Only beasts cannot control themselves." Margaret twitched her mouth.

"That's right. I'm a beast that always wants to devour you." Charleston stuck out his tongue and licked her delicate neck.

Margaret shivered as she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

She did not know how to speak animal language. Hence, she did not know how to communicate with this beast.

The clock chimed again.

The auctioneer, dressed in his proper auctioning attire, strolled onto the stage.

"Mr. Limbaugh, the auction has begun." Emilia quickly raised her voice, interrupting their erotic conversation.

A picture of the first auction item appeared in the air.

It was an ancient memorabilia from the old days in Haverland.

The bid started at 800 thousand dollars.
