13. 14 million!
This, of course, was not a big deal to Charleston.
But to others, this was an insane price to pay for a dress.
Although the diamonds and fabric materials may had been costly, the final value of the dress would never exceed a million dollars.
Yet, Charleston had actually offered over 10 million dollars for it.
13. 14 million...
What a wonderful and romantic set of numbers.
Just before this, Mr. Limbaugh had purchased a brooch. And now, he had bought the gorgeous Starry Dress.
It was obvious that he was going to give them to one of his lady companions.
Everyone wanted to see who was the lucky girl to have caught Mr. Limbaugh's attention and adoration.
Who had the charm that could sway Charleston, who repelled women before, to buy such a romantic gift for her?
However, the private room door on the second floor remained closed. It seemed there was no way for them to quench their curiosity.
In the private room, Emilia was thrilled, thinking about how blessed she was to have gotten Mr. Limbaugh's attention.
"Mr. Limbaugh, I didn't expect you to treat me so well. I don't know how to thank you..." Emilia casted a suggestive look at Charleston.
Margaret had no doubts that Emilia would say that she would gladly thank him with her body.
However, Charleston looked puzzled. He asked, "Didn't you already thank me for the brooch just now?"
"Yes, but the dress..."
The door opened at this moment, and a staff walked in with the Starry Dress.
The dress was hung on a hanger that was similar to the size and height of a human body. Four tall men were needed to carefully bring it onto the stage.
Emilia's eyes suddenly lit up. "It's so beautiful, but the bust size is too big while the waist is a little small. My size is..."
"Sorry, Miss, but this dress has already been altered." The staff said apologetically.
Once altered, a dress like this could never be modified again.
"Has it?" Emilia put her hands on her hips. "Is this a second-hand product? Do you know who bought it for me? It was Mr. Limbaugh! Who asked you to alter it?"
Emilia exhibited such a strong and demanding personality. Those who did not know would definitely mistake her for Mrs. Limbaugh.
