Margaret pressed her lips together. "Stephanie called me here."

"Did you bully Stephanie again?" William asked directly and said nothing else.

It was the same as before.

No matter what Margaret said, William would not believe her.

In his eyes, he only had Stephanie for a daughter.

Since Stephanie had been acknowledged by Master Sherman, she had brought great honor to the family.

Naturally, he had to protect her well.

Therefore, his attitude towards Margaret got even worse.

After all, this daughter had embarrassed him.

"Mr. Simons, if you talk nonsense, you're gonna get punished by God," Margaret said calmly.

William really hated the sight of Margaret.

She looked just like her mother.

But William knew that these people were secretly laughing at him for depending on a woman to survive.

Margaret ignored the furious William.

Her gaze fell on the main door of the Simons family's villa

She saw Stephanie walking out slowly.

It was obvious that Stephanie had already known that Margaret was here.

She just wanted to embarrass Margaret. So, she chose not to come out.

"Dad, I invited Margaret here. I felt that we are a family, after all..." Stephanie explained. She was a really good person in front of William.

William looked at Stephanie lovingly and said, "Stephanie, you are too kind."

"Dad, I'll be fine. I think Mr. Gordan was looking for you," Stephanie said.

Gordon Whelan was Zachary's father.

They were in-laws.

Thus, William nodded and walked inside.

"Now that I'm here, you can tell me what you want." Margaret looked straight at Stephanie.

Stephanie covered her mouth and laughed, "Margaret, you best watch what you say. You're making it seem like I am going against you on purpose."

"Are you not? Then why did you call me here?" Margaret raised her eyebrows.

She did not believe that someone like Stephanie would really invite her over just for the sake of a sisters' reunion.

"Dad will announce my marriage to Zachary today at the banquet." Stephanie said as she kept staring at Margaret.

"Okay, and?" Margaret did not take what she heard seriously.

Stephanie suddenly felt puzzled.

Why did Margaret seem to be indifferent about this? Did she not care?

Stephanie wanted to boast in front of Margaret.

However, after seeing Margaret's response, she felt that Margaret had a little care about this.

All of a sudden, this felt meaningless.

Margaret raised her eyebrows at Stephanie.

Did Stephanie ask her to come just to mock her?
