Sandy shook his head. "It's unnecessary. When someone doesn't trust you, no matter how much you say, it's just seen as covering up, explaining, and denying their own wrongdoing."

Yanis listened to Sandy's words, her mouth slightly agape, not quite sure what to say.

After all, Yanis's understanding of Brandon came mainly from Zane and Sandy. Amidst all the recent events, she hadn't had much time to focus on what was happening between Sandy and Brandon.
