On the phone, Hiruma asked, "I'm almost there. When will you guys arrive?"
"We'll be a little while. You go ahead and find him. Tell him I need to talk to him," Anthony responded.
Hiruma acknowledged before ending the call.
Turning his head, Anthony looked at Sandy and whispered, "He owns a private clinic. It's not very large in scale, but it's quite reputable in Viteto."
Sandy gave a nonchalant "hm" in response, seemingly unfazed by this information.
Anthony glanced at her and remained silent.
Soon, the car parked in front of a private clinic.
After parking the car, Anthony got out and walked around to open the passenger door for Sandy.
Sandy sat in the car, lost in thought. However, in the blink of an eye, she regained her composure and stepped out of the vehicle.
As her gaze fell upon the hospital entrance, bustling with people, it seemed presentable enough.
Anthony closed the car door and turned to Sandy. "Let's go in."
Sandy agreed with a nod and followed Anthony into the hospital lobby.
Because Anthony had made prior arrangements, there was no need for registration or other formalities.
After all, it was a private clinic, and many procedures could be temporarily bypassed if they weren't urgent.
Anthony led the way to the sixth floor.
"Are you sure about this?" Anthony couldn't help but whisper as they exited the elevator.
Sandy didn't answer his question directly. Instead, she asked softly, "Is the doctor a man?"
Anthony raised an eyebrow, slightly amused by her query. "Don't worry, he'll arrange for a female doctor."
Sandy nodded. "Then let's go."
Seeing Sandy's determination, Anthony refrained from saying more. He led Sandy into the doctor's office.
The doctor was someone Anthony had gotten to know during his reckless days, a time when he often got injured and visited the hospital almost daily. That's how they became familiar with each other.
Upon seeing Anthony, the doctor's face contorted with disdain. "You're quite something."
Arching an eyebrow, Anthony regarded him. "What? After all this time, you've forgotten what I do?"
The doctor scoffed. "There's a fruit knife on that table. You've got ten seconds. If you're still here after ten seconds, I'll call security."
Anthony chuckled. "I won't be using a knife today, but your underlings might need to use something else."
As the doctor heard this, he looked over at Anthony and then Sandy, his expression shifting multiple times between them. He finally spoke up, "What do you mean?"
Anthony tilted his head slightly toward Sandy. "Help her."
The doctor stood up and walked over to Anthony, pulling him aside a few steps before lowering his voice. "Did you knock her up?"
Anthony responded with a noncommittal "hm." "She doesn't want the child. Can you take care of it?"
"You're really something else." The doctor muttered in exasperation.
Anthony didn't bother to defend himself. He simply asked, "Will you help?"
"I'll have her examined first."
"Find a female doctor, please."
The doctor playfully nudged Anthony's arm with his elbow before turning around and making a call.
Before long, a female doctor entered the room.
"Doctor Dobbin."
Doctor Dobbin nodded and gestured toward Sandy, who stood by. "Take her for an examination."
Suppressing the urge to swear, Anthony said, "Blue, are you trying to shut down this crappy hospital of yours?"
Doctor Dobbin shrugged. "If you're capable, go ahead and shut it down now. Let's see how your beloved will manage."
Anthony: "..."
Evidently, Doctor Dobbin's next statement amused Anthony.
Waving his hand, Anthony said, "Considering you've patched me up many times over the years, I'll spare you."
Doctor Dobbin chuckled, looking somewhat disdainful. However, his expression quickly turned serious as he studied Anthony. "Brandon has some reputation in Viteto. He has connections and a good background. Are you really going to compete for her?"
"Do I need to compete?"
Doctor
Dobbin was aware of the recent events surrounding Viteto, and after a moment of contemplation, he spoke, "The Longman family holds a respectable position. By all accounts, it's a match made in heaven. After all, they were childhood sweethearts. But who's to say old flames won't be rekindled?"
"What are you trying to say?"
Doctor Dobbin met Anthony's gaze. "What else could I be trying to say?"
"Just say whatever you're trying to say."
Doctor Dobbin met Anthony's gaze for a few seconds before relenting. "Are we friends?"
Anthony acknowledged with a grunt and then looked at Doctor Dobbin. "Can I go out back for a smoke?"
Doctor Dobbin stared at him, clearly conveying a "repeat that and get out" expression.
Anthony retrieved the pack of cigarettes from his pocket, ready to light one up. "What are you trying to say?"
"I..."
Before Doctor Dobbin could finish his sentence, his phone rang, interrupting his train of thought.
